I really want to go. Someone gave me an article from one of the free NY papers that had a bunch of the Top Chef contestants featured and what NYC restaurants they are working at. I had it hanging up on a bulletin board at work and someone tossed it.

I am looking forward to Wednesday so I can talk about the first episode already hehe.

I wish! I love Television without Pity (www.televisionwithoutpity.com). They have a thread over there dedicated to those who have tried the various restaurants that the contestants own or work at. Harold's restaurant has received rave reviews from everyone. My mouth waters everytime I read it! Harold and Tiffani from Season 1 are the two chef's whose food I would most like to try!

I can't wait for tonight!

DH and I can't wait for this season to start. I like to cook, but I'm so
very meat and potatoes.

I really admire that way they are able to think on their feet putting the
meals together.

Yay, it starts tonight! I love this show, and even better, DH and I both grew up outside Chicago. He loves Charlie Trotter, it would be great if he was a guest judge.

I keep telling my DH he needs to be on this show. He can usually spot what the contestants are doing wrong when they cook (IE those do not taste good together, that's overcooked), and what he says usually matches with the judges opinions. He says he never will, he hates all the drama and can't usually sit through the whole show.

She must have thought the judges liked a lot of salt. They complained her first dish was missing A LOT of salt. lol. poor thing.

I thought the same thing - poor girl...no salt in the pizza and then too much salt. I loved the comment, "So when did salt enter the dish?"

Anyway, I knew that person was toast. You can kind of tell when someone has a competitive energy & is on fire. She kind of dragged her way through the whole show.
