Richard showed such class! I would have been happy if he won, but I was just as happy with Stephanie!

Not so much a plant, necessarily (I don't know the laws, if any, regarding reality show competitions) but certainly INCREDIBLY lucky. "Not being the worst" in any challenge does NOT make you a good chef. I still feel if Dale hadn't won the coin toss in Restaurant Wars, and instead Lisa had been their teams Executive Chef, she would have been packing her knives that week.

It would have been such a close match had Dale been in the finals. And if Richard hadn't choked, it could have been anyone's game. I would have been happy with any of those three winning.

Not much longer to Project Runway...

Do we just change the title of this thread?

I just watched this on DVR and just YELLED when they announced that Stephanie won!! She was my early favorite!

I was so afraid Lisa would win... with her face... HOW those judges were able to deal with her and her attitude, I have no idea...

She and Spike should've been sent packing with their nasty mouths and attitudes. I lost respect for the judges for dealing with them... though I'm SURE the producers wanted them there for drama. KEEP yo drama!

For ONCE evil was NOT awarded!!!! YAY to Stephanie!!!

I was very surprised Lisa attempted something with rice again. Even more surprised it came out well this time.

OMG, I so totally agree!!!!

Did I miss it or did Lisa congratulate Stephanie? I didn't see or hear it and I figured she would make a show of it after her little fit last week.

I've been thinking about this. Could they possibly have awarded the title of Top Chef to anyone other than Richard or Stephanie? I mean, after making a point to mention that they were tied in the number of EC wins and all. You shouldn't be able to remain in the middle and then pull out ahead in the end and win. I SO would have never watched this season again either. (I love that line. Thanks to the PP who said it first!)

I get a kick out of the "if ___ wins I'm never watching that show again!" claims. Note that I'm not referring to ANYONE here. I saw it a LOT on the AOL message boards. "If Rob and Amber win, I'm never going to watch Amazing Race again, ever!". Okay, that was a bad example - I think they competed on three separate seasons. But that kind of thing. Mostly, the winner somebody hated will never be on the show again. Next season is entirely different (e.g. Next Food Network Star's season four is BO-RING - but it's different from season three...)

I believe that the judges try to judge on that weeks food so it would have been possible that Lisa could win. I think that unless both of the Top Chefs have a bad night, as Richard did this week, the most mediocre could not pull off a win. I think Lisa can cook and that can can make some outstanding dishes. I just don't think that at this point she would have been able to make 4 stellar dishes in the same meal. The key, I believe, was when the judges needed to determine whose meal they would want to eat again. Lisa had some high notes but not enough to take it.

She is the ugliest person they ever had on there.

She is by far the most unlikable person they've had on the show. Hung and Marcel were bad - I'd take both of them again before Lisa.

Last nite, I saw a famous actress in the supermarket having a major hissy fit. I thought that would be what Lisa would be like had she won TC. While she doesn't have a tenth of the talent of this person, being awarded $100,000 and the title TC would give her the money & the inflated ego to hire (buy) people to abuse in the same way.

We are in Orlando now so I missed the finale. I'm so glad Stephanie won I just wish I could have seen Lisa loose.

You'll be able to see it. It's on Bravo. They'll show it about a scabillion times. The only station I know that shows reruns as often is TBS.

I have had a crush on Eric Ripert for YEARS!!! More than his looks I love his humility and soft spokenness. He doesn't have an arrogant bone in his body.

And he can cook..... WOW!!!
