An added bonus

Most over-hyped, over-rated and over sensationalized restaurant
Le'Cellier

Flat out worst ts (if it were cs it would be ABC Commissary)

My disclaimer: this is only the opinion of this posters personal tastes and own experiences and is not intended to be an expression of fact. :rotfl:

Crystal Palace Lunch - Love lunch here, Pooh and friends

50's Prime time - kids find it a hoot

Ohana Dinner - YUM

Whispering Canyon Cafe Dinner - For the fun of it all

California Grill - For adults, best steak I ever had in my life

Luau - Course why I like it is not appropriate. The food and the scenery is nice. LOL

I haven't been everywhere, but here are mine, in order, in two tiers:
Tier 1
1. California Grill
2. Jiko
3. Blue Zoo
Tier 2
4. Fulton's
5. Artist's Pointe
6. Narcoossee's
7. Flying Fish
My second tier isn't tremendously below my first, but it does help me speak about what I think stands apart.
Keeping your child in mind, Blue Zoo isn't tailored for kids, the menu at Fulton's can be intimidating to some children, and Artist's Pointe and Narcoossee's-- particularly the latter-- are quieter and not always ideal for the youngsters. That said, I've seen children enjoying each of them with no problem. Still, I might then consider these replacements:
Marrakesh (really good food and tremendous atmosphere and entertainment)
BOMA (a good, low-risk way to introduce kids to "exotic" foods)
Rose and Crown (kids seems to love the idea of being in an adult pub)
Brown Derby (you can get a Fantasmic package there)
Have fun!

in no particular order, with a 6 year-old in mind:

1. Chef Mickey at the Contemporary
2. Teppan Edo at Epcot (my kids LOVED this place!)
3. 50s Prime Time Cafe at DHS (fun atmosphere)
4. Boma at AKL (tons of variety - I was surprised that my kids, then 4 and 6, liked it so much)
5. Whispering Canyon Cafe (kids like the antics)
6. Crystal Palace (my son loves Tigger even though he he never watches Winnie the Pooh on tv)
7. Biergarten (both my kids like this place a lot and it has lots of variety)

If 2 credits, I'd also add Flying Fish, but I don't consider that a top choice for kids...more like a choice if you have a night out ;)

On non-DP, my son really liked TRex at downtown disney...

My top 7 Disney restaurants are

1. Citricos
2. Narcoossees
3. Kona
4. Yak & Yeti
