Hey Everyone,

So my family is going to WDW in a weeks time and after looking at the boards for a while I have a question!!!!

What are your top 5 DDP Restaurants, either TS or CS!!!!!!

Looking forward to seeing your responses!!!!!

Krista

I would like to hear this too!

I haven't been to a ton of the restaurants but my favs are:

TS- California Grill (Contemporary) & O'hana (AKL)

CS- Flametree BBQ (in AK)

Our top 5 favorite restaurants are:

O'hana
Coral Reef
50's Prime Time
Chef Mickey's (breakfast)
Crystal Palace

Our top 5 TS restaurants are:
1) California Grill
2) Akershus Breakfast
3) Cape May Cafe
4) Le Cellier
5) Artist Point

Top 5 CS restaurants are:
1) Pecos Bills
2) Columbia Harbor House
3) Flame Tree BBQ
4) Sunshine Seasons
5) Sassagula Floatworks at POFQ

Mind you these are in no particular order.

Our favorite 5 restaurents are: in no particular order
Tusker House
Yachtman Steakhouse
California Grill
Teppan Edo
Wolfgang Puck's Cafe

Special Mention:
Victoria & Alberts (once but if I had my way, it would be everytime we set foot on Disney property!!)

There are many many more but these are must do's if we are not trying something new.

My DH would switch out Wolfgang Puck's for Cinderella's Royal Table Breakfast!! Boys and there big breakfasts where you get a sword!!

Our top five:
  1. Yachtsman Steak House
  2. Citrico's
  3. Flying Fish
  4. Artist Point
  5. Bistro de Paris

Top Five TS (at this time, it changes a lot, and I am very narrowed by the requirement that the restaurant be on the dining plan)

Jiko
Kouzzina
California Grill
Sanaa
Flying Fish

Top 5 CS:
Wolfgang Puck Express (although I don't get there much)
Columbia Harbor House
Tangierine Cafe (on and off the list based on whether or not they serve me cold meat)
Sunshine Seasons
Captain Cook's (just for the adult grilled cheese. They get rid of that and it's off the list)

If you are going in a week, have a dining plan and haven't made reservations yet...you need to get on it if you want any in-park restaurants or character meals. The really popular places, you probably won't get.

I read OP's other post in the reservations board and I'm nervous for her. Get on making those reservations! :)

That being said, my family is me, DH, DM, DD6, and DD3. We love:

TS:
Crystal Palace breakfast
Le Cellier
Kona Cafe
Tusker House breakfast
1900 Park dinner

Unfortunately this close to your travel date, I'm not certain you'll be able to get in to any of those.

CS:
Sunshine Seasons
Columbia Harbor House
Fish and Chips CS in England (Epcot)
Pop Century Food Court :)

Good luck! Let us know what you end up getting.

TS:
Crystal Palace breakfast
Kona Cafe
Liberty Tree Tavern lunch
Le Cellier
Sci Fi Dine In

CS:
Columbia Harbor House
Captain Cook's
Gasparilla's Grill and Games
Sunshine Seasons
Wolfgang Puck Express

If you are going soon (as in before January when the crowds drop off), the best 5 restaurants are going to be any 5 where you can get reservations.

Our favorites are...

TS:
Crystal Palace
Whipering Canyon Cafe
LeCellier
Ohana
Chef Mickey's

CS:
Pecos Bills
Cosmic Rays
Wolfgang Puck's Express (marketplace)
Sunshine Seasons
Restaurantasaurus

Love all of these. Hoping to add some more to our list this time around.

I agree with PP, if you don't have ADRs now for your TS, you should be looking quickly. Free dining is in affect and during Christmas is the busiest time of year.
Good luck!

#1 for us is Citricos. #2 is The Wave. #3 is Yachtsman Steak House. Tied for 4th and 5th are Ohana and Le Cellier.

TS:

I haven't used the DDP yet, but these are my favorites:

Counter Service:

Victoria & Alberts
Bluezoo
Il Mulino
Bistro de Paris
Flying Fish

Only because the OP specified that she wanted to see DDP restaurants, I feel I should point out that only one of these restaurants (Flying Fish) accepts the dining plan.

Top 5

1. Jiko (my new favorite )
2. Artist Point
3. California Grill
4. Chefs de Paris (French menu for lunch is a must on every trip :hippie:)
5. Le Cellier

Honorable mention if you want to replace the 3 Signature Restaurants above:
Boma
Kona Cafe
Wolfgang Puck Cafe

I must admit we found places we love and don't necessarily try new restaurants at WDW very often.

Table service:
Le Cellier
Yak & Yeti
Teppan Edo
Ohana
Crystal Palace breakfast

Counter service:
Wolfgang Puck Express
Cosmic Ray's
Yorkshire County Fish Shoppe

Hoping to add some new favourites in January!

I am dying to know if you have been able to find any resies for these with such short notice! I agree with the poster that mentioned the best restaurant is the one you can get into!
