Ok, so my DH, BIL, and SIL have a week to enjoy Disney without children. My friend who is a chef calls me an all American girl in that my family loves to eat traditional American fare. I am probably the least adventurous of all. With the new dining plan we are going to get to try restaturants we normally probably wouldn't. With my ADR's on Saturday - could people suggest the 5 restaurants (best 1st) they think I shouldn't miss that will have foods my family with love!!

Thanks a bunch!

1- Liberty Tree Tavern
2 - Crystal Palace
3 - Donald's Breakfastosaurus
4 - Kona Cafe
5 - can't think of another place with basic foods that we would suggest.....

Le Cellier
50's Prime Time Cafe

Yachtsman Steakhouse
Flying Fish
Le Cellier
50's Prime Time
Grand Flordian Cafe

breakfast: Boma, Spoodles, Kona Cafe

and if you are feeling a bit more adventurous: Jiko, Boma, Spoodles

#1 Tony's on Main Street
#2 Crystal Palace
#3 Sci Fi Diner
#4 Rainforest Cafe
#5 Casey's Corner Main Street You have to have one of the foot long hot dogs while everyone else is leaving the park and then when you walk out you are almost all alone!! :thumbsup2

1- Boma
2- Le Cellier
3- San Angel Inn
4- 1900 Park Fare
5- Brown Derby

1. Le Celier
2. Kona Cafe and Tonga Toast
3. Alfredo's
4. Ohana - last trip was terrible but I will give them one more chance
5. Sci Fi

"Traditional American Fare" does narrow the playing field--
Concourse Steakhouse
Yachtsman Steakhouse
Boatwrights
Coral Reef
Le Cellier
All 5 pretty basic and fine for the non-adventurous.

Artist Point
Prime Time Cafe
Yachtman Steakhouse
Grand Floridian Cafe
Brown Derby

(I'm still trying to figure out how "San Angel Inn" qualifies as "traditional American fare"! :rotfl: )

* Crystal Palace, LTT, or the Plaza at MK

* Garden Grill or Le Cellier at EPCOT

* Hollywood & Vine, Sci-Fi, or 50's Prime Time at MGM

(We didn't prefer Hollywood & Vine, but it is a buffet w/ typical selections.) If you're planning to see "Fantasmic", you might want to schedule an FDP (H & V, Mama Melrose's, or Brown Derby), and, for typical, "American" food, you'd probably prefer H & V to the other 2 FDP choices. If you didn't schedule an FDP, I'd probably go w/ Sci-Fi.

* There are so many selections on the buffet at Boma, that you might find something you like there as well - steak, potatoes, salads, yummy desserts. The AKL is gorgeous, & Boma would be a great ending to a day at the AK Park.

* Concourse Steakhouse at the CR

* Grand Floridian Cafe at the GF

* WCC at the WL

1. Artist Point (for a fancy meal that has food good for picky eaters too)
2. Le Cellier Steakhouse
3. Boma (for breakfast, dinner might be too adventurous)
4. Kona Café
5. Liberty Tree Tavern (good at lunch without characters or at dinner with them)

1. Whispering Canyon - Breakfast or Dinner!!
2. Artist Point - Great Steaks
3. Beaches And Cream - Hamburgers, Hot Dogs, Malts, Shakes, Sundaes.....All-American!
4. Liberty Tree Tavern
5. 50's Prime Time - Meatloaf, Roast Beef, Chicken, Malts, Shakes

1. Le Cellier
2. Yatchsman
3. Boma
4. San Angel Inn
5. Restaurant Marrakesh

bicker, when you're from San Antonio, it's UN-AMERICAN to not like Mexican food! Come on down and enjoy some enchiladas, tacos, tamales, rice, & beans with us!
:teeth:

For restuarants in your comfort zone you will love
50's Primetime
Le Cellier
California Grill

To try something different you sould try
Boma because it is a buffet you can each choose exactly how adventurious you would like to be.
