Top 3 resorts for best Christmas decorations?

We are wanting to take in as much Christmas festivities and decor on our trip in December. What are your top 3 resort picks for decorations and which festivities are a must in the parks? We already plan on doing MVMCP. Thanks

Resorts - GF, AKL and WL

Festivities - Candlelight Processional and Holiday Storytellers (both at Epcot)

We just did our first holiday trip, and I'd rank them: WL, GF, and AKL. If you don't make time to go to AKL, Beach Club/Yacht Club gets the honorable mention. And Swan/Dolphin is really pretty, too.

We made time to visit all deluxe resorts to see their decor this year, and it was one of my favorite things. The Poly was the only one we thought was lacking.

For activities, Holiday Storytellers around the world were wonderful! The CP was nice and I'm glad we did it once, but it isn't a must do for us if we ever go again during the holiday season.

Honestly I would pick what resort you like best as it is so easy to resort hop to see all of the decorations. If you stay at a MK resort or visit the park you can take a boat or monorail to them. The best places for decorations are walking around the FW campgrounds, WL, CR, and GF. If you stay at an Epcot resort or visit the park it is easy to walk to YC, BC, BW, Swan, and Dolphin. The day you are at AK you can take a bus from the park to the resort. At Epcot we have done the CP with 4 different narrators and love it each time. We do the dining package. We also enjoy the storytellers. We also have done MVMCP 3 times and really enjoy it.

I really think "best" is pretty subjective. So many people rank Wilderness Lodge as one of their favorites but we don't care for their decorations that much. Yes, we like the resort but we don't like the natural, outdoorsy Christmas decorations they have that much. We like a more traditional Christmas atmosphere. So we love the blown glass ornaments at Boardwalk; the gingerbread carousel at Beach club & especially the winter wonderland train display at the Yacht Club. I could spend all afternoon checking out all the little details there.

I totally agree with this. I'm not a fan of WL, either the theme overall (though I admit the lobby is spectacular to be in) and the rustic Christmas Decorations. On the opposite end of that, while I thought GF's decorations were cute during our visit last December, they weren't in my top three. I love BC's carousel and beach themed tree (with so many little extra details to discover), I was charmed by CB's tropical flowery garlands, and I like Poly's decorations for personal nostalgic reasons.

I did peek in at YC's yacht/sail boat themed decorations, which I thought were ok (I liked GF's better) and at BWI's, which I thought were lovely, but not in my top three.

But, honestly, they're all lovely. Even the ones that aren't to my personal taste are still really nicely done.

I've heard nothing but great things about WL at Christmas and that's why we chose that resort this year.
