Hi all! I'm traveling to DLP for my first time as a solo American girl at the end of August. I will be there for 3 days (while my husband is finishing up some work, I'll just wait for him at Disneyland hehe) and I am really looking forward to it!

I have a question about table service meals. I typically only eat one meal a day in the later afternoon or early evening, so I like to sit down at that meal and eat quite a LOT! I would like to make one reservation at a DLP restaurant each day that I'm there. I am looking for high quality food! What would you recommend?

So far I am strongly considering Chez Remy, Walt's, Inventions, and whatever the princess meal in the castle is.

What would you most recommend in terms of quality of food and experience? I'm solo so price isn't really a concern, I am fine with character meals, I don't do breakfast, and I am staying off-site.

Any advice is appreciated! Oh, and also... I'm about 45 days out from my trip. How soon do I need to call and make reservations? Hopefully I'm not too late already...

Hi,
We don't have a restuarant inside the castle, the restaurant with princess is called auberge the cindrellion and is right behind the castle i can't command on the restaurant you ask about accept Inventions In disneyland Hotel it opens at 6pm and is a great buffet with characters.
Dining reservations in 60 days out and can only be made by phone chez remy, walts and auberge are very populair i would call soon if you want eat in one of them.

Thank you, this is helpful! Do you know which characters Inventions usually has at dinner?

Hi, mostly goofy, pluto ,donald , minnie , tigger ,mickey and pinnochio ( some wile change off course)

Remy and Blue Lagoon were both excellent. Walt's was a huge disappointment; it was the highlight of my 1998 trip to DLP and far and away the worst Disney meal I've experienced on my 2016 trip.

If prioritising food I'd choose Walt's, Inventions and California Grill.

If prioritising experience I'd choose Walt's, Blue Lagoon and Chez Remy.

We just came from Disneyland Paris.

As we were staying on property, we had breakfast included, it was in Inventions, and it was great. Sometimes we were seated in California Grill for breakfast, as the Inventions tables were all occupied. Both restaurants are beautiful, and I really enjoyed being there.

We did Sunday brunch and normal lunch in Inventions, they both include characters, and the food seemed to be the same for both of them. The food selection was very good and beautifully arranged, we loved it. Both experiences were very relaxing too.

We had dinner at Chez Remy, I got the one of the most expensive options, for 59.99 (the only more expensive was if you included the wine, and it would be I believe 78.99). My food was delicious! I got truffle cheese for desert, and after having foie gras for a starter and steak for main meal, I thought I would not be able to eat the cheese. But - boy - it was so good, that I actually ate all of it :)))

We also had lunch at Blue Lagoon, and I thought the food was very good there too. It was not that great for my particular taste, as it seemed to have coconut taste in everything. But I still think that it was just my personal matter, and the food was really good.

So obviously I highly recommend Inventions and Chez Remy. I also would recommend Blue Lagoon without a hesitation.

Though it was not Disney restaurant - but I was just thrilled with Caprese Sandwich from Earl of Sandwich. I liked it so much first time, that when we ate there for the second time - I just got the same sandwich :))) It was great again :)))
