Top 3 Epcot restaurants?

1. I LOVE Chefs de France!

2. If you are willing to take counter service as an option than Tangeriene Cafe.

That's all I have sorry! :guilty:

Illuminations- I have heard that Rose and Crown (as other posters have mentioned) is the ultimate dining choice while watching Illuminations.:goodvibes

I have only eaten at Biergarten x2 , Le Cellier x3 , Coral Reef and Les Chefs de France.

Since food quality is most important I'd say

Les Chefs de France

If you were to combine all the elements, I have never been disappointed with

Biergarten

Our experience at Coral Reef was a very good one, but I have heard a lot of different things from other Dis-ers. We chose to eat at 4:30PM (first dinner seating) because people had said service and seating times were wacky later in the night. This worked very well for us.

I would not recommend Le Cellier. Our first two meals were OK in 2007. Both of them were lunches and since they were OK we decided we would try dinner the next year. We got our friday night dinner reservation for the first day of the F&WF and we much prefered to food at the festival than in the restaurant. Plus that famous soup was outside in the Montreal kiosk so I got it there.

The only restaurant with a very good view of Illuminations is Rose & Crown.

We start every visit to WDW with an Illuminations ressie at the Rose & Crown. Food can be great or so-so depending on what you order. Menu changes regularly, so I can't tell you what you should avoid.

Mexico (I live in Texas....)
China & Italy (can find plenty at home)
Japan (excellent Japanese restaurant 3 mi's from my house)

Bistro de Paris (haven't been able to talk DH into it $$$$$)

Don't forget the Resort & Boardwalk restaurants just outside the International Gateway

3boymthr --- oh my gosh!! Remy?!?! How cute is that? My girls LOVE that movie and would flip out. I think I might have to call Asap about getting a lunch ressy (vs. dinner) at Chefs de France!

marmar --- Agree with you on China & Italy, we have many options at home for those. Same with Mexican, really. The Biergarten would be something totally different and it just looks like so much gosh-darn fun, I may have to give it go. Tokyo Dining is a
"perhaps." Japanese would be fairly new for us but I'm willing, esp. if we could have seats for the show.

There are so many good choices and so much good advice here. Unfortunately it's making my decision even harder, lol! :goodvibes

I know it's sooo cute. This was me :jumping1: when I found out they had him there. This was me  when I found out he's not there on Sunday, which is the day we have our ADR. Luckily my boys haven't seen him because they LOVE Remy.

The only restaurant with a very good view of Illuminations is Rose & Crown.

Actually Tokyo Dining has some extremely good views of Illuminations. They pipe in the music, dim the lights and if you are at or near a window, its unobstructed. We love this place for the food and service and the views of the World Showcase.

OP, if your trip is end of April, Le Cellier is most likely out and many others will be tough to get into.

My favorites in Epcot thus far are:
Corral Reef: Love the aquarium and we have had some great meals and some good ones, never a bad one. But the atmosphere is a favorite of ours

Tokyo Dining: Our most favorite in Epcot

Marrakesh: Love the food, atmsophere and live music and belly dancing.

Le Cellier: Good value for the money, love the soup and mushroom filet but so tough to get into. In fact we haven't been in a few years, the last time I had an ADR I had to cancel last minute due to dd not feeling well, it nearly killed me!

San Angel Inn. Lots of people don't care for this one but we love it. Probably the best atmosphere in all of Epcot and your kids would love the boats and volcano.

1) Teppan Edo
2) Tutto Italia
Weren't that impressed with Le Cellier or Coral Reef...but Le Cellier was a couple years ago, so we probably need to try it again so I can give a more accurate review.

Considering the opinions of both the adults and children in our family, our 2 recommendations are:
1) Biergarten- good variety of food, good beer and wine, and the entertainment which keeps both kids and adults entertained; good value for the money

2) Teppan Edo- good food, still entertains the kids, much quieter than Biergarten

I think Tokyo dining would have great views of Illuminations. I have watched it from the upstairs walkway next to the restaurant and had a decent view, so I imagine the view from inside the restaurant by the windows would just as good.

If you are looking for CS I would recommend Tangierine Cafe. Out of the few that we've tried for TS we enjoyed Chefs de France the most.

We accidently wandered into the restaurant in Morrocco during a trip when my two boys were young and now we return each time. The food is not great but tasty, filling and economical, and the entertainment of bellydancing and live music is fascinating. My boys were amazed by the interesting instruments they were playing (particularly the drums) and the bellydancers usually bring some young kids up to dance with them. It's a bargain when you consider the meal and the entertainment you get for the price.

If you are only going to do one, its gotta be Chefs de France!!!

We also like Biergarten, but mostly for the atmosphere. Le Cellier, but really just for the food. Tutto, is a beautiful restaurant and the food is pretty good but not for the price. Teppan Edo, has a cool atmosphere but I don't think the food is great.

IMHO, Chefs de France has it all.

Okay, as of right now we have late lunch ressies at Chefs de France and Biergarten. :cool1: If anyone is looking for something at either of those at the end of April, don't hesitate to call -- they told me "pick a time, they're pretty open".

Subject to change upon further menu reading... :rotfl2:
