Top 3 attractions in MK at Rope Drop??

The only problem with getting a fastpass for Peter Pan is that you will miss one of the nicer queues. I've heard that you could miss it at rope drop if they haven't opened it but we haven't had that problem yet.

Going by Peter Pan and then going to Frontierland is not so hard. You have to go to back there anyway and you can do so early or late just as easily imo.

!
DD just had a moment of crazy and said no to Belle but YES to space mountain!!! I'm like, okkkk....
So maybe we go straight to PP then Space Mountain?

My DD rode Expedition Everest at 4yo (and about 43 7/8 inches tall and with a new pair of sneakers). She was a bit (ok, totally) scared on the first ride, but wanted to do it over and over afterwards - once she knew what to expect. Don't underestimate her bravery and ability to love these things! (showing them ride videos in advance might help ease fears) - "It's just Mickey trying to fool you" was our quote!

Thank you for all these.

So maybe we go straight to PP then Space Mountain? After that we will go on w our day of FPs. And get new ones throughout the day.

I hope I get on splash. Bc the next time we come it will be under a refurb. So I hear.

The first time I rode space mountain I was 6 too :) one of my proudest moments to this day, lol....

Whichever three rides you choose, I would make sure they were in close proximity to each other. Rushing to Peter Pan, then turning around and heading to Splash Mountain, only to go back to Fantasyland is a big waste of time. You'll lose more walking back and forth from attraction to attraction than you'll save in waiting in line.

Quite honestly, If Peter Pan was my rope drop priority, I would follow it up with Small World and Haunted Mansion while I'm in that area. It makes no sense to walk 15 minutes to Splash Mountain and then wait 30 minutes for Small World later in the day if you could walk right on Small World at 9:05. Since you have a HM fastpass, I would probably suggest the Little Mermaid ride as the third one.

I can see why some people would want to hit as many hot rides as possible even if they're zigzagging but I agree with you. It's so much better to knock out as many rides as you can at rope drop in Fantasyland because after 11am it's a complete zoo.

I would then head over to Frontierland with a Splash Mountain FastPass. In my experience I've noticed it's more congested in the Fantasyland area. The only other area that comes close to the FL crowds is Tommorowland.

Ummm....I walked into the park at 8:58 am today and it was a MOB SCENE. Ran over to PP and line was in the "street". Cast member said it was over an hour wait. I was like, what the....???
Forget space. Also crazy line.
Plus I heard it was on the fritz today.
Splash closed at least once today too.
And around 9 there was a complete down pour with thunder and a lightening show.

So no PP or SM or splash (sigh!!!) this trip.
