Top 3 attractions for a 3-4 year old?

POTC can be pretty scary for little ones. I would wait until 4 or 5 then see. I have 5 grandchildren and most weren't ready until 5 or so. Of course my grandkids are a little wimpy.

My 4.5 DS's favorites last October: Peter Pan, Buzz Lightyear, Playhouse Disney show. And meeting Mickey Mouse!

PHXscuba

i have 4 kids, so their favorites varied, especially between my daughters and sons. but 3 of their very favorites around those ages were:

Buzz, Peter Pan, and Casey Jr. Circus Train

It's been one of my son's favorites since he was 2.5. :confused3 He's never seen the movie.

all 4 of mine have been riding POTC since they were infants, and have never been frightened of it, either (but we had AP's and were in the parks weekly, so they were really used to it). we took a friend's 4 year old though and he was terrified....i felt awful for having taken him on it (i really thought he would enjoy it like my kids did). so it just depends on the kid. i would agree that it can be really scary for those in the 3-4 year old age group. too dark and too loud for many of them.

Buzz, hands down. If we could ride Buzz all day long he would love it. He also really liked the Jungle Cruise.

Just to add to the POTC discussion, my DS really liked it at first (around his 3rd birthday) but later that year he was scared of it. We might try it again in the near future and see how he likes it.

If you want them to burn off some energy don't overlook the Redwood Creek Challenge Trail. They can run around like crazy.

Also the standards as mentioned. Plus Golden Zephyr at DCA. Pirates Lair for same reasons as RCCT. Kids love Autopia and the Monorail too.

My nephew was 3 going on 4 when we went last year.
He LOVED Buzz Lightyear astro blasters or whatever its called.

He has gone on POTC since he was 1 and loves it.

He also likes Small World, the carousel, Nemo, and the teacups.

On a side note hes in love with the Lights Motor Action show at DHS.

But thats not a ride. :)

My just turned 3 year old's favorites are Matterhorn, POTC and probably Teacups or Casey Jr Train. I realize that most 3 year olds probably would not have Matterhorn as a favorite, but she has been going on it since she was 2 and loved it! :goodvibes

My shy one loved: Dumbo, circus train, and small world. Hated all things dark until age 4.

My wild and tall one loved (at 3 1/2): BTMRR, Go Gaget Coaster, Astro Orbiter, Tea cups.

They both loved Buzz and so did the grown ups. I think that is the best question. Which ones did adults and children both really enjoy. Those would be first on my list. For us it's Buzz, Peter Pan, Splash Mountain, Jungle cruise, Tiki Room (yes, we're weird). All of these we can do together and all have fun. Dumbo is my least favorite. I am always hoping it breaks down. Such a time drain to go around in circles. I guess until they are older we are stuck.

Okay I am posting this for my little fairy in my avatar. Her top three are SMALL WORLD (and she is singing It's a Small World for you right now as i ask her what her favorites are) Winnie the pooh and Toy Story Mania! She really loved trying to play!! But she has a DEEP love for all things Toy Story!! I know it's DCA but it's a real favorite. She didn't like any of the Characters they scarred the stuffing our of her! ;) Oh and she did love the the "horseys" she says! aka Carousel! I hope that helps coming from my 3 year old. :lmao:
