Hi BunsenH,

What type of beer is Boddington's? I am going to Rose & Crown in September and would love to try something new.

Thanks,

Barbara

Boddingtons is a bitter, a bit like John Smiths (another famous English beer brewed near where I grew up.) My DH didn't think too much of the Boddingtons served in the Rose and Crown though, he thought it was too warm!! I can't comment though as I am not a beer drinker myself.

My top 3 adult activities at WDW.
1) Sitting on the beach at the Beach Club with a glass of champagne after a meal at the Yachtsmans Steakhouse.
2) Riding a segway around the world showcase.
3) Dinner at the California Grill, sipping champagne whilst watching Wishes.

I think a nice adult thing is going on one of the tours. Many of the tours would be boring for a younger child.

1) Pleasure Island - Adventurer's Club and Comedy Warehouse definitely
2) Fine Dining-California Grill and Artist Point
3) Taking our time, taking it all in, skipping things that don't appeal to us

Spicycat, I'm going to the Food and Wine Festival for the 1st time Sept. 30-Oct. 3rd.
Any suggestions on what not to miss?

Danauk, I'm doing my 1st Segway Oct. 1st.
Is it as much fun as it looks?

Justlikeeyore and airplane, will either one of you be joining us for our Monorail-Drink-A-Thon on Sept. 30?

Hi,

Boddingtons is a light colored ale, like a golden ale or extra pale ale. A very mild taste. It's not my favorite style of beer, but the attraction is that it's delivered from the keg like a Guiness and has a creamy head and a very smooth mouthfeel.

You should definately try one :drinking1 and report back to me.

3 favorite "adult" things are:

1. Going through any of the parks without pushing a stroller
2. Being able to eat a meal without hearing "mom, mom, mom"
3. EPCOT Food and Wine Festival.

Bumping because DH and I are going on our first adult trip in less than a month, leaving our three DDs with their grandparents!! We are staying at YC and have yet to experience the Boardwalk area. So excited!
