Per local Orlando news (WFTV), here's the top 20 Central Florida health code violators. You might want to print this out and avoid them on your next trip

This is the list of the Central Florida restaurants with the most Health Department inspection violations. The list includes restaurants that had the highest total violations based on inspections by the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation. The inspections cover a three year period from March 2004-March 2007. In our analysis, a critical violation was counted as two, a routine violation counted as one.

That photo makes me never want to eat out again! Just this a.m. I dropped DD at Preschool and the parking lot is shared with a restaurant. I saw one of the cooks outside and serioulsy thought to myself, would I want that guy cooking my food that I eat? NO! Ugh, I feel ill!

It sorta lokks like last years refried beans. What could it possibly be at a wings place??? This could be the way to lose weight while at disney.

Good News, I have never been to any of them...

shame that so many are oriental buffets....there can be some really good oriental buffets if they are well done.

Some are out of the Disney zone for most vacationers...Apopka, Lake Mary Casselbury and Melbourne...for us 3 month snowbirds we will have to be careful as we go on the Flea Market and Golf circuit!!

Cattleman's is pretty popular place...lots of adds and hoopla....maybe not anymore!

Not sure "Thanks" is right term, but information is good to know...

Cheers...Ted

You know, now that I look at it again, I think I can see some "Hidden Mickeys" in those mold spores! I'm guess I really am a true Disney addict! :rotfl2:

:rotfl: I completely missed the Hidden Mickeys. And there are several in there. And there will be even more tomorrow! Good call!

That place is in the process of being re done and new management. So it should be better.

I forgot to add that most of the places listed on Channel 9's "investigation"
would really be out of the way and far for a WDW visitor to go to eat while here. The closest one would be more than 20 minutes away and most at least a 30-40 minute drive.

Ok, that's funny! :rotfl:

The problem isn't so much the visible mold, since that's probably just penicillium, and isn't that dangerous unless you're allergic. The problem is, what else might be growing in that? (BTW, it looked like a container of pudding to me.)

Yuck! I live in the area, I don't think I've been to any (maybe the Sonnys, that surprises me about them!)

Barf! OMG, I've eaten at two of the places listed... Texas Roadhouse and Young's Buffet.... ewwwwww! Anyone have a spare chlorox wipe I can clean my mouth out with...lol.
