I had to promise not to tell my sister...that lasted all of about 5 minutes before I told!
We do the gold dollar coins, so they were like gold and something different. The hard part is remembering to have a supply from the bank.
At our house, if you lose your tooth in the evening or even late afternoon, this statement is usually heard: "it's probably too late for the tooth fairy to get you on their schedule for tonight and you'll have to wait until tomorrow".![]()
I had to sit down at the hysterics of my DD and write an "I am sorry for dropping the tooth down the sink" letter to the tooth fairy

Another "fairy" told me that change is reeeeeealy important to them. For some reason they like the coins, it makes them "feel" rich, like they have more..... I'm guessing it has to do with the sound. bills are silent but change makes noise!!!! Well, that did it for me. Each lost tooth gets $5.50.![]()
