My eight year old son approached me the other night asking me if the tooth fairy was real. I said, "What do you think". "Well mom", he said, "I have been thinking very hard about this tooth fairy thing and it just doesn't seem right to me that there are tiny fairies flying around out there with big bags of children's teeth. I think the weight of all the teeth would weigh the fairies down and they wouldn't be able to fly. Fairies flying around just isn't right." I then asked him who he thought the tooth fairy was and he pointed to me. I broke down and told him the truth and he seemed so relieved.
