Tooth Fairy in WDW??

How funny, yesterday my daughter came to me and pointed out that her front tooth was loose... it barely wiggles... but our trip is in a little more than 4 months.... so it could end up falling there... Thank's to all for the wonderful suggestions... I'll be sure to keep an eye on the tooth and when the time for the trip comes... I'll pack up everything for that special moment.

WE saved the tooth and took it with us. TINKERBELL came that night as she is a friend of the toothfairy's. She left a TINKERBELL BARBIE, $5 IN MICKEY MONEY AND SHE LEFT PIXIE DUST (just glitter from the craft store) NEAR THE GIFT AND ON AND UNDER HER PILLOW.When she woke up she dumped some of the PIXIE DUST on her head and tried to fly. We had to explain that TINKERBELL wasn't allowed to give magic pixie dust away. That was about 3 years ago and she still talks about it!!!

I had as much fun doing it as she did getting it. I think she might still have a few baby teeth, if I am lucky she will lose one just before or while we are there in October!!

My son lost his front tooth on Main Street during our last visit to Disney World. Of course, I had gone with my mom to use a FP on Space Mountain & missed it, but pixie dust was at work as a Disney photographer just happened to be walking by. She took photos of the big event so I got to see it all unfold. DS was so excited!

Of course DS didn't have his tooth pillow that night, so I stopped by the front desk & got an envelope to place the tooth in. They gave me lots of Mickey stickers as well so DS could decorate the outside of it.

The toothfairy put out lots of pixie dust that night & left a note for him on a Golden Mickeyears post card. And of course instead of actual cash, the toothfairy left Disney dollars --- you know, "When in Rome..."

*** We had just finished up dinner at The Plaza restaurant so I took a chance asked if they had any Mickey-head confetti as I have seen used in other restaurants. They did & gladly put some in a "to go" cup for me. ***

We'll be back in Disney in a few weeks & wouldn't you know, DS has another loose tooth. I have a game plan this time just in case.

Thank you again to everyone for sharing their stories and ideas!

I checked the wiggly-ness factor again this morning and I'm still thinking she's on schedule to lose it in WDW. She's not the type to "work on it" by wiggling it back and forth, so her teeth tend to slowly make their way out. She's a patient little gal! And hopefully her patience will pay off for her!!

I like the idea of asking one of the restaurants for Mickey confetti - we celebrated a birthday on our last trip and received this confetti, so I know she'd recognize it as being 100% WDW authentic from Tinkerbell! It's going to be great fun...I'm really hoping that tooth holds out for us!! :goodvibes
