Toontown hours

We're going to the World for the first time Nov 1-6. Does Toontown keep shorter hours than the rest of the park? I remember that it opened later and closed earlier at Disneyland a few years ago. Also, what is the best time of day to visit toontown? I have twin girls (7) who are dying to meet the princesses. . .the new princess room will be a must see!

Welcome to the Dis!!!

When we were there in Jan and Sept this year, Toontown opened 1 hour after regular park opening (in our case it was 10 am with the park opening at 9 am). Going right when it opens or during the afternoon parade tends to be best. We went as soon as it opened and were able to go right on Barnstormer and into both Mickey and Minnie's house, then play at Donald's boat (if you are going during a warm time and the water is working, bring a change of clothes or the kids swim suits so they can really play in the water) and then went to the tent and had no waiting at all.
