Someone refresh my memory about the hours Toontown is open. I'm just talking about regular hours not the Morning Madness thing. I was thinking that it opens an hour after the park opens. Is this right? And what time does it close for the fireworks? And on the nights that they don't schedule fireworks do they still close it early or does it stay open until the park closes?

Thanks!

You're right about opening 1 hour after park opening. TTMM is one hour earlier. So a non MMday, TTMM will be at rope drop
Can't help you with the closing time though

In my experience, ToonTown closes at 8:30 or so on fireworks nights.

I was at Disneyland in early June 2008 and the park closed at 11:00pm with no fireworks. ToonTown was open until the park closed and was very, very empty. Me and a friend literally walked right on Roger Rabbit, walked right up to see Mickey with no crowds whatsoever in his house, and then rode Gadget's Go Coaster 42 times in a row because we could and because we're insane.

What time of year was that? I thought they closed early. I would love to walk through and see it all at night. We'll be there in November (our usual time to go). It seems like when we took the holiday tour it was closed when the train dropped us off at the TT station. But I might be wrong. That would have been just 6:30 when the parade was starting

Well, I know we went at night in november but it wouldn't have been too late since DS was with us. It was dark outside but maybe it was only around 7pm? We like doing TT at night because it is so nice not having the big crowds. We didn't do Gadget's Go Coaster but I remember we had a pretty short wait to see Mickey. There were only maybe 3 or 4 families in front of us.

You should be fine in November as long as one of your days is a day when Disneyland closes late. I've seen ToonTown at night in December, February, and early June. It was easier in December and February because it got dark earlier, yet the park was open later. Any weekend in November should work because it will get dark early and the park will be open late. I think the key in seeing ToonTown at night comes down to later closing time and getting dark early enough, which is very difficult in the summer.

Yes and no. I've seen Mickey at his house 3 times after dark. Two times photopass was there, and one time they weren't(and I didn't have my camera on account of rain).

I know they can be hit or miss. When we were there for TTMM over Tgiving week. a cm was there but no photopass cm. We're really excited about this!

Could you still go through Chip and Dales Treehouse and Minnie's?

I remember going through the treehouse one night. I think we went through Minnie's house, but I don't remember for certain.

So from reading this thread i take it, it's better (in regards to lowest crowds) to do Toontown later on in the day rather than early afternoon?
