Toon Town Rope Drop

I read on another board that you can not do ropedrop for toon town off of the red trail anymore, only the main entrance. Does anyone know if this is true?

That seems to be the case since Pixie Hollow opened,although,from time to time there are sporadic firsthand reports of it being open for TTRD.During my last trip,which was in December,the Train Station Rope Drop was not being used.I am going back to WDW later this month and will post the current status when I return.

I was there on Monday and there was only a RD at the front of TT. They dropped the rope at 8:45. We were first there and they walked us to Pixie Hollow. We were the first to see the fairies !
