Took A Bump and Made Out OK!

We just returned on 12/29, and flew Delta. As we were waiting to board, an announcement was made that the flight was oversold and they were looking for volunteers to give up their seats...well, I almost trampled everybody over getting to the counter to volunteer. The 4 of us each got $200 vouchers, a voucher for lunch, and we got put in first class on our flight to Cincinnatti! And, we ended up getting into Milwaukee a little more that 1 hour later than originally scheduled. As much as we disliked having to leave WDW, that was not a bad way to end our vacation!

We love to be bumped!!


Last Feb 2006 President's week, my DD 11 & I took 2 bumps & all in the same day. We arrived in MCO 6 hours later "First Class" We receved $1,600.00 in AA money.

With the AA money (bump money), I booked 2 RT tickets to Barcelona for June 2007. We are meeting up with the, "Disney Magic" & going to Spain Italy, & France. Thanks American.

This past Nov 2006, week took a bump with Delta. We each received $400.00 & proceeded to be put up in the Hyatt, given lunch dinner & breakfast, & next early am we flew home "First Class"

I am now planning our Nov 2007 trip with our bump money.

You guys are lucky. I'm always volunteering to get bumped when I fly home from MCO, but have never been "lucky" enough. Once I did get my flight down changed beforehand per a phone call from Delta a couple months before our flight - which resulted in $150 vouchers. That made my Las Vegas trip this fall happen!
