Hi everyone,

I'm looking for your opinions on something - is it possible to be too young for DLRP?

We are thinking of booking for June with our little Mouseketeer. He will be 19 months old then.

I love DLRP and can't wait to introduce my little boy to it :)

Any advice greatly appreciated x

I went in March with my Godson who had just turned one and we had a lovely time. They can go on loads of rides and the playparks are great for them to toddle round in :) Have fun!

All depends on what you want really.

I personally wouldn't go with such a young baby/child.
But that's just me.

Other people are perfectly fine with taking their babies.
So it's basicly all up to you :)

i dont think its too young but i myself wouldnt take a 19mth old unless you have older siblings. I think they are better value holidays that they would enjoy just as much if not more.
Also alot more relaxing. Disney is fab for young kids but its exausting!!

i will be travelling with my son in november he will be 11months at the time.
there is no such thing as being too young for disney there's fun for everyone :thumbsup2

Thanks everyone. Glad to hear that there would be plenty for DS to enjoy and I think June would be a nice time for him in regards to crowds and weather

We went in 2008 when my sister was 10 months old and it worked out fine, she was a little scared of the characters at first but she soon got over that and wouldn't let go of Mickey's nose! She had no trouble getting on any of the rides even though some of them apparently have a 1 year age restriction. Actually, I think her favourite ride was either phantom manor or pirates of the caribbean :rotfl:

Since then she's been another 3 time's and we're going again in June, we've got her hooked on it! :goodvibes

if it was to be a once in a lifetime trip i would say wait until they are older. otherwise for me as long as they are out of drinking bottles i would take them. personally i couldn't be messing around with trying to make bottles on holidays but i know other people manage fine.

your child will be almost two so i don't think it is too young at all. i first took my dd at 22 months. she had an amazing time over there and four years later we are still going back.

We're taking ready made formula (and driving!)

Sent from my DISBoards app

We always took the ready made cartons too when the girls were babies, they were great esp in spain ect. As it not easy keeping btls fresh in 35c heat lol. Dd1 was on special formula until she was 3 so no holidays wasnt an option!!!
