TOO Much food! Our Jan.09 Deluxe Dining Adventure TONS of pics! Completed 3/4

I am a big fan of the jalepeno-cheese-filled pretzels!

We only ate at WCC once, and I think I can explain why your server may not have been in to it -- my brother, who was 20 at the time, didn't finish the brocoli in his pasta. The server tried to feed it to him, but he turned his head and shut his mouth. She must have thought he was playing along, because she calls the entire restaurant's attention to us and tries to feed him the pasta again.

Well. He actually batted her hand away and yelled "I said I didn't *censored* want it!"

You know in movies and TV shows when the soundtrack kind of screeches to a halt and there's a few seconds of dead silence? This was just like that. I wanted to be swallowed up by a hole in the ground.

Boma breakfast looks amazing! It is on our list for September. And we have to try Tangeriene Cafe now too because your food looked absolutely scrumptious. Can't wait for more!

Subbing. I could never do the DDxDP because it would just be way too much food for us. I would leave Disney weighing an extra 15 lbs if I did. However I like seeing what other people eat as a way to decide whether we should try or skip.

As for Tangerine Cafe, I don't think I've ever seen one negative review of the place and would really like to try it. I love hummus. Not a fan of lamb so I'd stick to the chicken but still very much looking to try this place.

we love WCC. sorry you were seated in the back. we ask to be seated in the middle, and say we will wait until a table opens up there. love their milkshakes! the cotton candy is really good, too!

The deluxe dining plan was great, and I think we both did gain weight. Trying to work it off now. lol

Narcoossee's

We ate here on our honeymoon trip and loved it, so it was a must do for this trip. We made our ADR at 7:20 so that we could see Wishes that night from the restaurant.

For my drink I got a pomegranate margarita. This is my all time favorite drink.

I think DH just got a coke. What a surprise. lol
For my appetizer I got the artisan cheese plate. The cheddar and rogue river oregon blue pieces of cheese were good but the humbolt fog... Wow, I'm not sure how people can eat this it tastes like stinky feet. lol

DH got the crispy duck roll with apple chutney. This was his first time trying duck but he really liked it. He said it tasted a lot like chicken. He ate most of it but said the portion was just too big as an appetizer.

After our appetizers, our server held off our entrees until after we got to go out on the deck and watch Wishes. What a great view! Wishes always brings a tear to my eye I must admit.

For my entree, this was a no brainer for me. Maine Lobster please! Fantastic as always! My only complaint, it wasn't enough.

DH got the filet mignon. He doesn't get filet mignon very often so he orders it every chance he gets. He just about licked his plate clean. He said that this was better than Le Cellier's filet.

Time for dessert. I ordered the gelato sampler. It had chocolate, an eggnog type flavor, raspberry, and pistachio. This was really good. I especially liked the raspberry.

DH got a new dessert on the menu. It was a warm chocolate/orange cake with blood oranges. I'm not sure of the exact name, but I tried a bite and wished I had ordered this as well. It just melted in your mouth.

Narcoossee's is one of our favorite restaurants. Two thumbs up. Plus service is excellent as well, our server even gave us some cute Mickey Mouse straws at the end of the meal.
