I am going to cancel WCC, Chef Mickey's and 1900 Park Fare.

I would like to eat at 'Ohana but I think this will have to be a walk-up as there are no ADR's :(

I would also like to watch Wishes after dinner with a cocktail ;) My other choices are:
The Wave
Grand Floridian Cafe
Kona Cafe
California Grill
Narcoosee's

Any thoughts or advice?

Love grand floridian cafe and kona, both we do everytrip

Havent eaten at others

Narcoosee's

By far my favorite restaurant on Disney property. Loved it I would love to go back but DD isn't well behaved enough the restaurant is small and quiet. it's lovely they played wishes into the restaurant and we could see it all from our table and also saw the water pageant go by. They offer you to go out on the deck to watch it with your drink but our food had just arrived and we had such a good view we didnt. The lobster was really good and DH said the steak was by far the best he has ever had.

Kona cafe

Wasn't bothered by it. The meal was fine but it wasn't one of those meals I left thinking wow that's a must do for every trip.

If your going to cancel chef mickeys what date were you going as I would really like to go and perhaps i could have you ADR if your able to do that message me thanks

I haven't eaten at any on your list. We are trying narcoosees and cali grill first time next month.

Why are you cancelling chef mickeys and park fare?

Chef mickey's gets some horrible reviews but we really like it (have only done 7am brekkie both times and have it booked again for October at 7am) To me it was a definite - I really am here moment - monorail through the hotel, all the main characters and food you wouldn't normally see at breakfast.

It's much better than cafe mickey at DLRP in my opinion.

Also have done park fare dinner x2 and enjoyed.

I'm having a bit of an adr wobble at the moment - think it is a result of all the months of planning and the holiday being so near. Resisting the urge to tweek!

I was going to ask the same thing! lol

I cancelled WCC too and wanted Chef Mickey's to replace it but it wasn't available so we've gone for Crystal Palace instead :D

Don't cancel Chef Mickey's!!

We went there in 2008 and had a fantastic time. The food wasn't the best we've had in Florida, but the overall experience was just great :smickey: It was our wedding anniversary - we got special place mats and the whole restaurant did napkin twirling just for us :)

We have Chef Mickey's booked for 5pm on 9th Nov - before we go to MVMCP. If I cancel, I will let you both know in advance.

I'm having major wobbles.
WCC sounds much less appealing now that the menu has changed. Chef Mickey's is on the night we go to MVMCP and I am concverned that we will miss half of the party! 1900 Park Fare is booked for breakfast on the morning we fly home - I'm thinking that the kids would probably prefer to hit the parks one more time than have a character breakfast.:confused3

Seriously considering Narcosees or Cali Grill. Would love to watch the water pageant and Wishes after dinner. Will have to check timing though.

I agree about not doing Chef Mickey on a party night.

What time are you leaving on your last day? Could you do the breakfast and then get the monorail to MK to say goodbye. There was lots of park fare availability when I was tweeking if you need to move the time (now off our list as DD wants to do the wonderland tea party)

I think a signature sounds like a great idea.

Right, I have had another look. I like the Cali Grill menu better than Narcoosees. Ideally, I would like to eat there on 7th or 8th November when Wishes is on at 8pm. What time would I need to book?

Also (and I'm sure that I've asked this before) how many TS credits do you get on a 14 night holiday? I'm assuming I would get 14.:confused3

I'm going to see if I can get Chef Mickey's on Halloween night, although I doubt I'll be that lucky.

Definitely cancelling 1900 Park Fare and WCC.

So, some decisions made.:rotfl:

Hi,I dont know what times would be available for California Grill but in our experience we have waited for a table for 5 every time we go, maybe 20 to 30 minutes and that was in October time of year and summer so you might want to bear that in mind with timing for Wishes.

We dont get kept waiting at other signatures for as long or so regularly but it is still really worth a visit.

We have started getting in a habit of going to 1900 Park Fare for breakfast on the last morning as its a last bit of fun, we dont get too hungry later in the day and the Grand Floridian is always nice for a visit and handy for the parks if time before back to reality.

And, yes you will get 14 TS credits. :)
