Too many Epcot Restaurants, not enough time...

I have a bunch of Epcot restaurants on my list to eat at. Problem is, we're only going to epcot for 2 days on our next trip. We're going to have two down days as well and I don't have enough restaurants that are not in the parks. We're traveling with two toddlers, 1 and 3 and are going on the DxDDP. So far I have:
Chef Mickey's
Artist Point (just DH and I)
T-Rex
Ohana
Grand Floridian Cafe
Cape May Cafe

We're staying at Bay Lake Tower so things relatively convenient to there or rather easy to get to would be a plus. I thought about Boma, but I want to limit character meals and buffets. We do much better with a regular TS instead. So give me your suggestions please!

Edit: Those are the non park meals we have. I didn't list the other meals I have planned.

with 2 choices I would go Teppan Edo and Via Napoli

Trust me DisGirl819, I understand 100% what you mean! We have had the hardest time narrowing down our dining for our next trip, even with 10 days of meals!

If I had two options at Epcot, I would pick Via Napoli and La Hacienda. That said, those would be MY personal choices and they may or may not work for you.

Thanks! However, I think I wasn't quite clear in my OP. I was looking for non-park suggestions. I have so many restaurants in Epcot that we're going to eat at already but I can't come up with as many non park options for our down days. So many in fact, that I absent-mindedly planned THREE Epcot days...and we only have 4 day tickets, LOL. Oops...

Boma isn't a character meal at supper, and has some really great food. The soups in particular are spectacularly good, but then so is most of the rest of it. And there's good kid-friendly stuff there too. While you are there wander around the hotel there are lots of lookout points to see animals that the kids will love.

Here's an off-the-wall suggestion -- Shutters at CBR. It gets panned in reviews but wife and I had just incredible steaks there and had NO complaints of any type about the place, dessert was awesome. Afterwards you can show the kids the turtles and fish in the water and take them to play in the sand on Parrot Cay, there's a little kids playground just built there in the middle. It's close to Epcot too.

Have you looked into Kona Cafe (at Poly) or The Wave (right at Contemporary)? While I've never been to either, they both typically come off pretty well liked. They'd also be quite easy to travel to and from.

For ease of travel, WCC at Wilderness Lodge would also qualify, but not too sure on the energy level or interaction for the little ones, it may be too loud and rowdy for your likes (but reviews put the food at hit or miss).

If looking for another signature or two, I would highly recommend Citrico's at the Grand Floridian. Very good. I've also heard that Flying Fish over at Boardwalk is quite good (I won't know until Sept )

I generally HATE buffets (we only do Character meals for DD), but I LOVED Boma.

I really didn't want to like it since it was a buffet, but I ended up loving it. The desserts were wonderful, the soups were delish, and even the meats were awesome if you gave them an idea of how you liked your meat (med rare, well done etc). The juices were fantastic. It seriously was YUM. And the servers were really good with kids. DD couldn't finish her meal b/c she fell asleep and they let us take a plate to go for when she woke up.

AKL has an awesome lobby and your kids would have a great time looking around and going outside to view the animals.

I like Wolfgang Puck Cafe in DTD, Kona Cafe at the Polynesian and Kouzzina on the Boardwalk.

I have read decent things about the Maya Grill at Coronado Springs but never eaten there.

You could also consider Chef Mickey's and Ohana's twice since they do breakfast and lunch/dinner. I love Ohana's breakfast and have never done dinner but it looks yummy.

All of the above are 1 TS meals on the DxDPP.

The Wave would certainly be convenient and worth a try.

What about the Luau at the Poly?

Would the kids enjoy running around at Ft Wilderness? Mickey's BBQ, maybe?

Kona is the only other monorail 1-TS credit you don't have listed, I think.

took my daughter to the Luau at Poly when she was 11 and she loved it!! Almost did it again this year (5 years later and she still remembers it ) but, passed because of other restaurants she wanted to try.
Know what you mean about Epcot, we're eating 4 meals there ( but we are at Disney for 10)
Le Cellier - Lunch
Coral Reef- Lunch
Rose and Crown-Late Dinner so we can view Illuminations
Chefs de France- Dinner ( my daughter won't pass on this , since she is in her 2nd year of French at school she really wants to go)
