We will be in the park Sun-Fri. I did not plan everything out yet because I just had my wisdom teeth out monday and wanted to see how my recovery went before deciding which places to eat at which days. Is it too late now though?

Also I am considering using Ridemax but I have a Mac. The site talks about a way some have bee successful using it. Anyone been able to use it on a Mac using the software they suggest?

Never to late. Most people can get reservations the day or 2 before. Your hang ups may be BB and possibly some character meals.

Wow - you are wanting to eat after having your wisdom teeth pulled?? All of mine were impacted and I didn't feel good for almost 2 weeks.

I would go ahead and call Disney Dining to see what is available.. It's worth a try! I have had luck calling for same day reservations at Cafe Orleans and Storytellers.

Have a great trip!

I was there last week and on both Monday and Thursday we walked right into Cafe Orleans with no wait between 1 and 3 pm.

I have successfully downloaded and have been able to use Ridemax on my MacBook. Now that I paid for it and have looked at it, I am not even sure if I am going to use it or not. But I can tell you that it was easy to do and it worked from the first minute.

It's not too late at all, call and see what's available. I bet you'll be surprised.

I had 5 teeth pulled at once years ago......I was eating fine within 4 days. Go enjoy your food!! :)

I had 2 that were bony impactions, 1 was also horizontal. It was horrendous the day of, but I'm healing really quickly. I'm still on soup and stuff though.

I know we would not do BB, not sure about a character meal.

Hmm, thanks for the info. Why didn't you like it? I don't want to pay for something that won't be useful.

I am not on normal food yet, but I expect to be by the time we are there. Thanks all!!!

You still had to download that software they mention on the site though, right?

Lavender_and_Roses, how much do you know about park traffic patterns and Fastpass? You are visiting in the off-season (although some people may be visiting to see the waters in the Rivers of America). But aside from Sunday and then Friday afternoon and evening, I'm not sure that Ridemax will be of much use to you at all. Even if the parks are very quiet it can in theory help you slightly with lines, but if the parks aren't crowded I'd rather spend more time enjoying the atmosphere, even if it means going on slightly fewer rides. I found when I used Ridemax plans that they created a real mentality of having to hurry from place to place, and when rides are down it makes it a lot harder to roll with the punches.

The only issue I really foresee for with crowds for your visit is that if there are any WoC soft openings scheduled, there may be a lot more people visiting the parks. In theory, those people will primarily be in DCA and possibly waiting in a line or holding area somewhere. :) And even if they aren't, I'm not sure that Ridemax will be of much help, as they use historical data and would be predicting a (for example) 35 minute wait for Toy Story Midway Mania at 1 PM, but if an extra 20,000 people visit the parks that day, it could easily be an hour, and Ridemax wouldn't be able to compensate for that.

If you DO get Ridemax, I'd try running a summer-type weekday plan, starting about 10 or 11 AM, for one day, just to get some ideas of what your worst-case scenario is. (Keeping in mind that your conditions will almost certainly be better.)

Yes, I believe it is called Cross Over, and I only downloaded the trial version. I did it when I was about 30 days out from the trip so it would enable me to use it up to the time of the trip.

Thank you so much! I'm a little over 30 days out myself :cheer2: so I'm getting to where I'm wondering whether I should use it. :)
