I am deeply sorry for your loss. I know losing someone so close to you is very difficult and can make any otherwise festive time very somber.
I hope my comments did not offend you, but I know what it is like to have expectations and then to be so very disappointed when they did not come to fruition. My comments were only meant to suggest that sometimes the enjoyment of the event can get lost when making it all happen is such a burden.
Of course we all have to make our own way, and I hope you do find some enjoyment on your 40th and that you are sitting there in Palo's being catered to.
