I posted this within another post but it got buried... so this is the story: I got a credit card offer for a disney visa that will give me a 200 gift card after my 1st purchase. No problem lol (making a "purchase"). SO I can use this $200 gift card towards my park hoppers for my trip in July? Really? too good to be true???

I think it is actually a Disney Rewards card, not a gift card, but yes, you can use it for park tickets.

Yep the offer is true. I got it last fall. I'm pretty sure you can use your gift card for a park ticket but I've never done it myself. I'm sure some else who has will come along and comment.

It might be a gift card instead of Visa rewards, mine was. I applied for a second Disney Visa through the link on the DVC member site. I used it one time and within 10 days, I had a $100 Disney gift card in my mailbox.

So, yes it is 100% legitimate and a great deal!

I got all excited yesterday thinking I got an offer for a $300 rewards card, but after closer inspection is said up to $300..$150 after first purchase and $150 for a balance transfer. I threw it out but if it was for a $300 gc I'd of been all over it.

I also got this card for me AND the hubby for our last trip! I then rec'd an offer to get it again a few months later and applied-and guess what? i got a second card and $200 more.They said you can have 3 cards so we do. i went to WDW with $600 in gift cards for doing nothing! I only bought $5 in gas on the cards to make my first purchase!

I just got that offer in the mail the other day. I applied online and was approved right away.

The letter says, "Receive enough Disney Dream Reward Dollars for a $200 Disney Gift Card after first use of the credit card"

There was an invitation number on the letter that needed to be entered when applying online.

No, they have to send it to you. You have to use the code on the letter when you apply.
