Don't forget to check the Anaheim Convention Center calendar for possible sources of floods of people in the area. There are multiple cheer/dance competitions on March weekends.

Wanting to go April 20th-29th will this be a very busy time? Unmanageable? Or is this one of the safer bets?

My DH wants to go in September due to low crowds but I really wanna go sooner than that. I need my Disney fix!!!

our spring break is the week of 3/24.

Our trip is planned for the week of 4/21!

I am SO excited.

2nd week in March for us. It's been a couple of years since we've been during SB. We're early risers so the crowds really don't bother us too much. March 9-14 - here we come.

I have the same problem. While crowds will be much lower in September (for DS 4th bday) I don't think I CAN WAIT. I think we're going to try for the 28th of April through the 3rd of May. Everything I've read over so far tells me with Easter so early this year and with spring break just wrapping up there should be 2 weeks at the end of April and 2 at the beginning of May that should be almost as wonderful as September. (Without as much chance of rain).

I'll be down March 10-15 for a Spring Break trip with my best friend.

Celebrating OUR LAST SEMESTER IN COLLEGE!

(well, as undergrads! we've both got grad school ahead of us.)

We live here in Atlanta and I think most of the public schools have the 1st week of April off. Because of state testing, I think most of the state is off that week. It makes for interesting driving on I-75 on those Saturdays!

I am planning a solo Spring Break trip.
I am getting into MCO late on March 24 and leaving either March 30 or 31.

How crazy is Spring Break?

It's always "interesting" to drive I-75 in Georgia . . . .:drive:

I am hoping to visit before the big crowds arrive - 2/26-3/8. I'd love to go for my birthday like I usually do, but it's the week before Easter this year - and I am not willing to be a sardine.

Voting for our week- April 7th

and bumping to get more results.

We had no intention of a spring break trip, but just last night started discussing doing something. That way we can be gone for two weeks and the kids will only miss one.

We went to Disney in late August and while the heat wasn't quite as unbearable as I had expected, Spring is much nicer and we can get away sooner. :goodvibes

I have a feeling I just voted on a WDW list vs. a DL list....anyways our spring break is starting March 17th, but we are going to DL March 30

does anyone think the week of april 1 is going to be horribly crowded? or maybe not as bad as touring plans thinks?

Not really my spring break but my friend, who's a teacher, has her spring break the week of April 14. So that's when we're going. :cheer2: I keep going back and forth worrying about crowds and not.

The 2 weeks surrounding Easter are traditionally the 2 busiest weeks of the year besides the 10 days around Christmas, so yes, it will be very, very busy. Prepare for the crowds, arrive for rope drop every morning, use FP wisely, and pack your patience and you will be OK.

Can I play too? We homeschool, but our co-op will have a break the Monday after Easter.

It will be horribly crowded. Easter is march 31st so not only the schools that normally break then will be there but the schools that break based off Easter will also be there.
