We are planning a trip for Oct 2015 but are considering switching to Thanksgivivg week 2015 so we can see Disney at Christmas. Should we do it? I read it's the most crowded week but I have never seen Christmas Disney before... Opinions would be appreciated!

The week between Christmas and New Years is the most crowded week of the year, but Thanksgiving draws in a lot of people too. Crowds will be in the 8-9/10 range whereas in October it's usually a 5/10. If you go in with strong plans you should be fine, and a good mindset is important too. Knowing that it's going to be very crowded with long waits is half the battle.

We have been several times over Thanksgiving week and I love it. Yes, it gets crowded, especially MK Thanksgiving night, but we have not found the crowds unmanageable. The weather is great, the Osborne Lights are fabulous & it's fun to spend a holiday in WDW. We are early risers, so that helps us accomplish must dos, then we can meander in the afternoon.

We went last year in October and my husband really enjoyed the lower crowds and the warmer weather for swimming. He's not really a people person. ;-)

I guess the decision is: to your family, are the higher crowds and prices worth the addition of holiday festivities (no MVMCP that week).

Whenever you go, I hope you enjoy your trip!
