I have no clue how you are connecting Gitmo to this story, other than to try to discuss a topic that is verboten.

This news item is about a number of people who were breaking the law and got arrested. It's not about Gitmo.

There are 8 suspects. 7 have been arrested. Feds are actively searching for the 8th.

I saw that on the news tonight.. I'm not anywhere even remotely close to you, but the whole idea is scary..

OMG! On the news just now, the wife of the "ring leader" was interviewed. She said she was tricked Monday night. Authorities rang her doorbell and said there had been a bad accident and that her husband and two sons were in critical condition at Duke. So she, her daughter and pregnant DIL were taken to Duke, taken around back, separated and she was handcuffed. Apparently this is acceptable practices, but it's just plain terrible since she lost a son in a car accident just two years ago. Regardless of guilt, can you imagine the emotions of this mother?
