Too book or wait

I just got a quote for the Poly in Nov 2009 at $523 . Should I book it an just hope that the price goes down or hold off and see if the price goes down? I should mention that's for just the room, not even a package.

The price you were quoted is the peak 2008 rate for the room category. You can only book 2009 rooms now by calling disney. They will only book a room only reservation. If you book a room only reservation now and then want a package, once the 2009 rates are released, you would need to contact disney again to change the reservation to a package. At that time, they would cancel your room only reservation, refund your deposit, and ask for a new deposit for the package. If you look at the 2008 rates for the season you are planning for, you can get a general idea of what the 2009 rates will be, probably a bit more than 2008.

It was a quote from a Disney authorized travel agent. I've decided to hold off until the actual 2009 rates are out. Also if the price did end up being that much would choose another resort. We do want to go back during Nov 09 and the Poly was just our first choice this time around but we know there are plenty of other good choices out there. Thanks so much for everyones help with this.
