Tony's. Yay or Nay

Nay from me. Tony's was always on our "must do" list every trip. My last two trips (this February and June) the food was awful. The pasta was overcooked and gummy. Chicken parm just wasn't as good as it usually was. Service was also horrible both times. I was so disappointed and will not be back for a while. There are so many better options especially if paying out of pocket.

Another Nay based upon the lack of quality food offerings...service is spotty too. Personally, if you are going to MK to see Wishes you might think about considering one of the TS restaurants within the monorail resort area. Very easy to get over the the MK after your meal, just plan on dining, travel and security time. Each resort offers more than one method to get over to the MK and you will have a far superior dining experience than any of the limited TS offerings in the MK.

Yay! My family loves Tony's. Its a must for us every trip. I love the chicken parm and my husband and kids love the meatballs. We have never had a problem with service. Give it a try!

Nay. It wasn't that great and we are not at all picky.

Big NAY!!!

Ate there once and will never go again. As an Italian, I would rather go to one of the chain restaurants for Italian food than Tony's.

First, one of the worst waiters in all of the World. Had to wait nearly 10 minutes to flag him down to show him the hair in my plate. Then, he offered to get me a new meal, but by that time DW and little ones had finished. Ever try eating after your children have finished and are raring to leave? When I pointed that out, he said something to the effect of Oh well, that's all I can do. I hadn't asked for anything else, but a visit by the manager just to say sorry and see how everything else was would have sufficed.

Drink refills?? That appears to have been left out of his training.

Sauce was terrible. Okay, I don't go out and expect sauce like mine, but this was like water with crushed tomatoes thrown in.

Last, and just a pet peeve of mine. When do you go to an Italian restaurant and they don't have bread on the table??

Tony's? Yay or nay? I have one night with no ADR and we will be planning to stay in MK for Wishes so I was thinking about doing dinner in the park.

If not Tony's where do you like for sit down dinner in MK? We're paying on our own for this.

TIA

Tony's was the worst meal I ever had at the world. It was the only time we ever encountered a meal that was inedible.

My son had the chicken parm that was burnt. we lifted the chicken up because he complained and the entire breast was burnt. yuck.

the sauce had zero taste, absolutely zero.

Do not remotely think of eating here.

NAY - ate there twice and both times the food was just not good. pasta waaaaay overcooked and mushy and the sauce was chunks of tomato and onion with no actual liquid in it. just kind of gross.

I giant gagging NAY from us. The food wasn't edible. The server didn't seem to care that we asked for the cheque and declined a doggie bag 5 minutes after the food being served. Simply terrible! Iw on't go back (unless the Via Napoli folks take it over :D )

Wow! DH and I really liked our meals at Tony's. We've eaten there two or three times and every time was good. I get the steak, so have no opinion on the sauce or lack thereof. We had good experiences with the wait staff each time as well. Either we have no taste or we were just incredibly lucky each time we ate there.:confused3 I guess in view of everyone else's experience, Crystal Palace and Liberty Tree would be best. We are eating at both of those this coming trip and are looking forward to them. Good luck on your choice!:goodvibes

Just curious, if you give a yay or a nay, can you say when you last meal was? Since there are different opinions, I would like to know if it has improved or declined.
