Ok with all the bad reviews I read on here about Tony's...why is it that I called today (didn't know I could make ADR's on line) to get an ADR for Tony's at my exact 90 day point, and can't get anything until 6:50 pm. I understand that there is free dining and with the new system, but if no one likes this place...why is it so busy? I mean we always eat there and have never had bad service or food. The unfortunate part is that Spectromagic starts at 7 and Wishes at 8 that night.

Did Tony's all of a sudden get so good that everyone wants to eat there?

Just wondering!

We've never eaten @ Tony's before, but have a lunch ressie for our upcoming trip. We are hoping for a wonderful experience. We've only had a couple of not great meals in all the times we've been eating @ Disney.:lovestruc

I love Tony's and it is a must for us each time we go. I make our ADR's on Wednesday and hope and pray I can get into Tony's on November 18 for my daughters sweet 16. I will just keep my fingers crossed and hope for the best.

Probably because they have a good variety of foods to choose from compared to the LTT especially at dinner time. Also the Plaza has a variety BUT not really "dinner" style meals. And CRT costs 2 TS credits. And with free dining everything books up and books up fast.

I am so sorry that Tony's gets such bad reviews. :sad2: My family loves  Tony's and we always visit there at least once for lunch and once for dinner when we are in WDW, it is a must for our family. I love the meatball subs. :thumbsup2 YUM We have always gotten great meals and service and you get plenty to eat. I love sitting in the terrace area and watching the people on Main Street.

DH and I LOVE Tony's and wish we were going on this trip. We're going to Tutto instead at my SIL's recommendation, so we'll see if it's as good.

We loved Tony's when we went in May. The service was excellent as was the food. We had dinner and surprisingly it was our least expensive TS meal of the week.

I thought it was just me. I'm having the same problem. On my 90th+10th day the earliest I could get was 7pm. I found this strange. I've been trying daily to see if it opens up but nothing so far. I've even tried changing the # of guests because maybe our party of 7 was too many but I can't get anything :confused3 I hope you have better luck than me.

Never had a bad experience at Tony's. Loved it the first time I went in 2006 and planned to return this year. I read the large amount of bad reviews and second guessed myself for a while but I wanted to dine close to the night parade so we went ahead and booked. I was not dissatisfied. Food was great and our server went out of his way to serve us. I tipped heavily that night.

tony's didn't get amazing all of a sudden but look at the other restaurants in the MK it's competing with. slim pickings if you ask me :) we're not HUGE fans of tony's but we're eating a lunch AND dinner there on our mk days.

We went to Tony's for the first time in March and loved it. We especially loved that we got a 2:45pm ADR and was able to sit outside and eat while watching the 3:00pm parade. The food was very good, and the atmosphere was wonderful. We liked Tony's so much, that we want to eat there again for our upcoming trip in December. My DH wants me to try for a 2:45pm ADR again so we can watch the parade from our table.

We really like Tonys, we have dined there once for lunch and twice for dinner and it is pretty good....

We did try and get in for dinner as a walk in on Saturday the 15th and they had a 4pm and 4:30 time open but we were not hungry that early....they were booked solid the rest of the night

We've ate at Tony's 2 years in a row and my family requested to
eat there again on our upcoming next year.
We ate there for Dinner 1st trip and lunch 2nd trip and I
prefered the Dinner menu much better.
But if it's the same dish on the lunch menu, It wouldn't matter
when you ate there.
Hope you can get a Ressie.
Have a Fun Trip!!

It's really nice to see that others like Tony's as much as my family does!!:cool1:

I was figuring on trying everyday to see if I could chance my ADR. But then I got thinking...it's our first day there and we land about 10:30 am, by the time we get checked in and head over to MK we planned on having lunch at Cosmic Rays (which I know is a ton of food). So I thought what about having a late dinner. MK is only opened until 9pm, so I got us a ADR at 8:45. This way we can see Spectromagic and Wishes (which are both running that night) the girls may have time for one more ride, before heading to dinner.

I checked with DD and all of her Dbestfriends that are going with us, and they all agreed that it would be fine. We can always grab a snack if we really need one. I was just really worried about getting an ADR here since it was one of my DD bestfriend's choice.

I do really wish that MK would get better dining places. We were even going to go to one of the restaurants at one of the resorts on the monorail. I originally made an ADR for 1900 Park Fare, but cancelled that today after getting the one at Tony's.

I have first-time ADRs for Sept 17th at Tony's and I am excited. I was having issues with the bad reviews but I am finding more people that LOVE Tony's so I am no longer afraid that I messed up. Thanks for the positive remarks.

We go to Tony's every year and always enjoy it. I haven't ever had a reason to give it a bad review. I will say that I am very sorry that they took my favorite item off the menu. I can't remember what it was called (pizza bianca I think?) but it was a lovely white pizza with several cheeses and garlic. It was fabulous!...I really miss it.

It is always packed when we go to the world so it can't be all bad! :thumbsup2 Keep trying and you'll get your ADR...good luck!

Aw, no! Is that off the menu? It's still listed on the lunch menu on allears. I'd be disapointed, that's what I was planning on getting!

OP, maybe it's free dining swelling up the restaurants.

Well, my hubby absolutely loves Tony's. I am not saying it is the best, but I have eaten there a few times and we really like it. My hubby is a very picky eater and of course this is one of the places he can get spaghetti the way he likes it (sauce on the side with lots of rolls and butter). I too enjoyed my meals there and would go back again. In fact, we hit our 90 day ADR next Sunday and Tony's is on our list. This trip it will be out of pocket as we chose the quick service plan as we also will have our 2 year old with us that is a picky eater, but we are willing to pay just to eat there.
