Tony's Town Square- Outdoor seating?

We now have an evening adr for Tony's and our TA said "outdoor seating requests taken at podium" do we want to request outdoor seating? Our adr is for 7:20 pm on an evening in early March.

I'd wait and see what the weather is like when you walk up to the podium. It could be pouring rain, it could 80 and humid, or it could be a lovely evening for an outdoor meal.

I guess my question was more is there any reason to prefer the outdoor seating?

If you time your meals right, there may be a chance to view one of the parades from your outdoor seating...some people love watching Spectro from the there while enjoying a late dinner.

Thanks, I didn't realize that when we made the adr. I guess we'll ask for outdoor seating if weather is ok, and hope to catch Spectro from there.

If you are a Lady and the Tramp fan, you may want to take a quick walk through the dining room before you hit the podium. Some of the theming inside is cute, but the outside patio is just a patio.

We have an evening ADR at Tony's back in August, and it was just at dusk. We were seated outside (didn't ask for it, it just happened). Thankfully it was a lovely night and we have some wonderful pictures as it went from day to dusk to night. Well worth an outdoor seat if it's a nice night. Depending on what time we go again and the weather, we might just ask for outside seating, as long as the wait isn't too long!

My DW and I had an outside table in December and it was wonderful especially since we got to see Spectromagic from our table during and after dessert! It was the first time ever that we got to sit while watching Spectro. I got some great photos!

We used to love sitting outside, regardless of the weather (okay, not in rain) and watch the 'show'. It was great for parades also. But, that's when we used to like Tony's. Haven't gone in about 10 visits now.

No. There are tons of tables all lined up against the rail on the patio so if you went outside to try to watch the parade, you would be literally hanging over someone's food. Plus the waiters and waitresses wouldn't be able to get around.
