Which has better food. We would like to have a nice sitdown meal one night. Most of our ADRs are character meals or family style for our young children. Is Tony's nice for one night?

LTT dinner is a character meal served family style. Turkey, Ham, and Flank Steak on a platter with gravy, green beans, mashed potatoes, stuffing, mac and cheese, salad and rolls with apple cobbler for desert. Characters coming around were Chip and Dale Minnie, Pluto and Goofy when I went last month. It was okay, but we will probably not go back, too many other places to try.

Tony's has gotten some pretty horrible reveiws on this board, run a search and you will find most are not favorable.

If you are looking for a nice sit down meal on you MK day I would consider hopping on the monarail and trying a resort restaurant California Grill and Concourse Steakhouse at the Contemporary get high marks, as do Kona and O'hana at the Poly :thumbsup2

I personally do not like Tony's at all. We have eaten there twice out of desperation when we couldn't get in anywhere else and hadn't made adrs. Both times I was annoyed to pay so much for what I thought was very mediocre pasta. We only went there b/c I don't like to feed ds a lot of fried food and we figured pasta was a healthier alternative.

Going to a monorail resort is a good idea. Or you could take a boatride over to Whispering Canyon.

We have yet to try Liberty Tree but I'm hoping to try it this trip. haven't hammered out the adr's yet! :)

Good luck..

Personal opinion, of course. We love LTT and eat there at almost every WDW trip (if not every one!). We weren't thrilled with Tony's. There are better places. I love the paintings...but the food wasn't my favorite.

LTT without a doubt. We had a bad meal at Tony's is 2003 so we tried it again in January, hoping we just hit a bad night. We didn't like it either time. We've always had a good meal and good character interaction at LTT. Its definitely a "must do" for our family.

Another vote for LTT, we have eaten at Tony's a few times and don't remember it being bad but also don't remember it being good either, so I would say it is a wash. We have been to LTT 3x, 1x for lunch DH AND I and
1x w/ kids a mom for dinner and this past Thanksgiving and always enjoyed it.
We like family style, the food is good, the character interaction is good and it is nice and laid back not to rushed which is the 1 thing i remember about tonys is feeling very rushed. I would go back to tony's if i could get a patio seat at parade time. other than that i would go to ltt.
