Tony's Town Square Grand Gathering Breakfast

Considering this meal for our grand gathering party of 16. I have read many good reviews on this, however, I did read one that said the tables were so close together, that their table wasn't able to interact with the characters. I guess this has me a little worried. Does anyone have any pictures? Is the restaurant really that cramped? Thanks!

We did this in Dec. & the characters had no trouble getting to our table or interacting with us. We had a wonderful time & enjoyed our meal as well as the characters. Enjoy!

We were 1st served pastries & muffins, which were very good! I honestly do not remember if waffles or pancakes were served, I will have to ask ds. Sorry my mind is drawing a blank at the moment, I remember the characters more lol

Chip & Dale, Goofy, Pluto, & Mickey. The 1st 4 come around to your table for pictures. After everyone is done eating Mickey comes out & they will call your table as to how you were seated to get a picture with Mickey.

Before the Meal Tony comes out & hands out special pins for you to keep & you can use these to get seating at Mickeys Philharmagic(we did not do this beings we had already been the previous day, but you still keep the pin). He also comes out at some point & sings & encourages couples to get up & dance. Chip or Dale(can't remember which one)got sil & slow danced with her. It was so cute

They have a dance as well for all the kids led by Pluto. My youngest ds really enjoyed this & Pluto grabbed him to dance by him. I was a snapping fool with the camera lol

IMO I think this is well worth the 1 TS credit & we will do this again if we have enough people in our party. A great way to start the day

Yes & beings it is a Grand Gathering breakfast, you need at least 8 people in your party to be able to book this.

Has anyone been to the Grand Gathering at Tony's lately? Are the characters still the same, Chip and Dale, Goofy, Pluto and Mickey? Also, what food is served? Gotta let everyone in our group know whats on the menu.

I just did this December 20th. I'm doing my TR now but haven't come to this day. I'll go ahead and share some things with you though...the food was not all that great. Really, this is the worst food we ever had at any breakfast.

It's the same food served at other places but I kid you not...it does not taste the same!

The tables are pulled together and in some spots it's hard to get up and out so I can see how one would not be able to have a good time because of this. This is how our tables looked.

The characters are...Donald, Mickey, Pluto, Minnie, Daisy, Goofy and "Tony".
They do play games with the kids at the end but this can get crowded. And at the end it felt like we waited forever to have our pictures made with Mickey!

You do get a free GG pin with your meal. It looks like this.

You also get a VIP viewing of the show as PP mentioned but we didn't go. We'd already been so I don't have anything to say about that.

This was okay and I'm one of those people who is trying to do everything at WDW at least once! I'm glad I did this. I don't know that I'd want to go again. My parents hated this meal most of all. It's not a good place to take someone after you've been to the Tusker House for Breakfast the day before. If you've never done it I'd try it. Why not? It's only one table service, tip is included, and you get a pin.


*Waffles have Mickey on them...not Lady and the Tramp.

Great pics above! The food was really good for having so many and it all pretty much coming out at the same time.

The kids ( 2 & 3 ) loved it - I've never seen my neice so excited! All the characters were able to make a stop at the table and interact with the kids. This was no one second fly by either. They stopped, shook hands, gave hugs and mugged for the camera.

It was a great way to start our day at the Magic Kingdom!

You can eat all you want of what they offer. The bacon was tough here and a little fatty. Not like the other bacon we've had at WDW. It's okay, don't get me wrong but don't book this for the food.

We used the DDP for this in 2007, at that time it was 1 TS credit. I'm sure it has not changed, enjoy!
