Tony's Town Square for Lunch?

It's been years since we've eaten at Tony's (although we did breakfast one time which was good) -- we don't really remember all that much about it (but we haven't been back so we must not have been that impressed). Plus, with all the lukewarm to poor reviews on the boards, it just seems too overpriced for not-so-great food.

Nevertheless, I was looking over lunch menus at allearsnet and Tony's doesn't look too bad. It seems like they'd have nice sandwiches/paninis. Anyone eaten there for lunch recently? I'm not looking for a luxury meal here. Comparably, prices for sandwiches at lunch are pretty much equal to prices elsewhere. Just wondering what anyone's opinion was.

I tried here for lunch back in 2003 and was pretty disappointed. The food was just so-so, as was the service.

We dined at TTS last March for lunch for the first time. We were pleasantly surprised after all of the reviews we had read. DD loved it there. (Of course, the guys came over when we told them she was a vocal student in high school and serenaded her)....The pizza we had was very flavorable, DD had a meatball sub which she liked. DH had a panini, which he probably would not order again.

Sitting here in the airport waiting on a delayed flight home (sniff sniff sob).

We had lunch at Tony's this past Thursday and DH and I both agreed that it would be one we'd do again. Nothing outstanding but a nice meal in the MK that isn't a fast paced character meal. DH had calamari, the Italian Sub and the apple tart for desert and was pleased with all 3. I had breadsticks (to share with the kids), baked ziti and tiramisu. The kids had the fruit plate, pepperoni pizza and ice cream. We were seated in the glass area right off the porch with a nice view of the MK tree. As long as you aren't expecting high end gormet Italian food, it is a good choice for a nice break. We will be back!

I wasn't expecting that at all and since the lunch prices seem comparable to other lunch prices, I thought I'd ask for opinions. Thanks for your thoughts...we may give it a try.

Anyone else?

We were there just a week or so ago and liked it so much, we're planning on getting ADRs for our next trip in June.

I say go for it! :goodvibes

Have fun and enjoy!
