I just made a PS for next week at 515. Hopefully we'll be able to get a good spot to see Wishes afterwards. I was just looking at their menu and it seems limited. There was only one pasta dish one chicken etc. Any input on the food?

I thought the food was fine though nothing special. I had spaghetti with the GIANT meatball and the sauce is a somewhat bland marinara sauce that actually hit the spot at the time. The salad was also fine but not memorable. They had individual pizza's that the wait staf was bringing to other tables. Those looked good to me.

I've only eaten at Tony's once but didn't care for it too much. Don't think I'd venture back - very mediocre.

I love The Plaza restaurant at MK for a quick bite. It is consistently very good.

My mom always said if you can't say something nice, than ZIP it!

We've only ever had good experiences at Tony's. I may need to check the menu because it's been two years since we were there, and I don't think it was as limited as you said...we've got PS's there for Dec...and I may need to check on that. They are very accomodating for children, and although it was the best steak he had, my hubby had a steak (or some form of giant beef) that he enjoyed greatly.

I hope you have a wonderful meal!!

We've never eaten there, but went in just to look around. It seems to be a standard Italian restaurant with Theme Park prices. I'm sure the food is good, but if the ambience doesn't justify the prices, I'd rather spend my money elsewhere. All the reviews I've read in the past have been moderate to good as well, very few diehards compared to some of the other restaurants.

Small Servings and bad service. 'nuff said. I will never go back. Try Liberty Tree Tavern or Crystal Palace first.

We too thought the food was at best average. Service was OK. That's the one Disney World restaurant that we won't go back to.

We really like Tony's. The last 2 times we have been there we have had good food and great service. On our most recent trip they allowed my mother to get a child's portion of Pasta which very few restaurants will allow an adult to do. My husband loves the Butterscotch Creme Brulee. It is one of his favorite things to eat at WDW.

We really enjoyed Tony's in June. I was surprised as I'd read alot of bad reviews. Food was good, service as well. it was not crowded for lunch and the atmosphere is pleasant. Maybe because I was expecting the worst it turned out to be a really nice lunch.

I know this gets a lot of mixed reviews but we have always enjoyed it. We have eaten there twice ~ both times on the "porch" area ~ and enjoyed it. I think it's just hit and miss as with other restaurants. Give it a try ~ if for nothing else, the atmosphere. Good Luck!

We ate there last Sept when they had moved the Pooh and friends character dining while CP was closed. We really liked it. The food was good, the service was good and we were eating a late lunch so we got to watch the parade while we ate.

DW and I will be at WDW on 12/9 to 12/14. Can anyone tell me if Tony's is still serving breakfast? This was always a great way to start the day.

Any thoughts on where to make PS before the Christmas Party?

We ended up eating at Tony's for 4th of July so that we wouldn't have to leave the park and they were the only ones with an available PS when we called. Quite surprisingly, we enjoyed it very much. The best meal IMO was the veal medallions. Very good and they're served with a side dish called Cauliflower Mash. This didn't sound very appealing to me so the waitress brought me a sample and it was absolutely delicious. It was a combination of mashed potatoes and mashed cauliflower. I find myself now wishing I could still order it at my local restaurant. We also agree....the butterscotch creme brulee is a special treat!

JPN4265 - No breakfast at Tony's. I miss it too. I used to love the Lady and the Tramp waffles!

What a mixed bag of reviews. I am trying to decide to try Tony's or Cindy's Royal Table for dinner. I am concerned with two DS 7&5 that Cindy's might be too stuffy. We normally have a 45 - 60 minute window to suggestions???

I am still on the fence about this restaurant. We did try it once and it was mediocre. Not sure if we will try it again.

Just my $.02...the absolute WORST meal we ever received at WDW was in the castle at Dinner. I'm sure most love it, but the food didn't compare to any other restaurant in the entire kingdom. But if you are going for the views...well, then you may not be disappointed, but I would not go there for the food.

Again, just my opinion.

I ate at Tony's on Tuesday. I thought the service was excellent and we had a great waiter. We were seated very quickly, enjoyed the good bread and got our meals really fast. The only thing I didn't care for was the food. I had spaghetti and meatballs and I thought the sauce was rather bland and the meatballs not too tasty. Dessert was wonderful; I had the mini canolis. Very yummy. On the whole, I'd give the experience a B.
