Tony's Town Square??? Any reviews??

I admit to being very finicky where red sauce is concerned and TTS's red sauce is disapointing but I've had the pork, and a few other things that were fine, not great but fine. Honestly for lunch I prefer LTT, though not for dinner!

We're firmly in the "never again" group. On what planet is this Italian food.

My son liken the spaghetti to the stuff he gets in his H.S. cafeteria. My chicken parmg tasted pretty much like the lean cuisane frozen stuff I take to work and dh was amazed that you can make a fra diavolo with absolutely no flavor at all. How is it possible? Note to tony's: Fra diavolo sauce is supposed to be spicy, it translates into some thing "devil" (can't remember what). Devil as in hot.

Run don't walk away from this restaurant.

Hi
We had lunch there and the food was terrible!! The dessert was the only good thing we had to eat. The service was pretty fast, and the atmosphere is really cute. We'll never eat there again unless they improve the food.

Just ate there 8/26. I'd say decent (not great) Italian food and so-so service.

Our ressie was 7:30PM and we showed up about 6:45 hoping to get seated early. We did get seated about 7:15 so not too bad.

When we sat down it took about 5 minutes for our server to come get our drink orders - a little long if you ask me. This was a theme that would continue throughout the meal. It seemed everything took a few minutes longer than was reasonable. Our server even forgot to bring a refill I asked for twice!

I ordered the lasagna. It was okay. Not great. Not bad. Just OK. Could have used a little more sauce and the flavors were kind of muted. To me it was about the same as Olive Garden.

DD had spaghetti and meatballs. She said it was like Mom's. Not a compliment as my wife only uses dried pasta a canned sauce.

DS had pizza and loved it. Now, he loves Chuck E. Cheese pizza and said it was better than pizza we had in Brooklyn so take that with a mountain of salt.

I forget exactly what DW had but she had a similar opinion to mine. Not bad.

This is not a place we would be eager to go back to again but not one we'd scratch off and never go back to again. Our opinion of the place is similar to the food. So-So. :confused3

If it's Italian food you're after - we highly recommend Via Napoli. Very good and more authentic than Tony's.

My sis and BIL ate dinner there in May. They loved it!! Their only complaint was the portion sizes are huge! They could have easily shared one entree. Other than that, they said food was great and service was awesome!
