Just ate there 8/26. I'd say decent (not great) Italian food and so-so service.
Our ressie was 7:30PM and we showed up about 6:45 hoping to get seated early. We did get seated about 7:15 so not too bad.
When we sat down it took about 5 minutes for our server to come get our drink orders - a little long if you ask me. This was a theme that would continue throughout the meal. It seemed everything took a few minutes longer than was reasonable. Our server even forgot to bring a refill I asked for twice!
I ordered the lasagna. It was okay. Not great. Not bad. Just OK. Could have used a little more sauce and the flavors were kind of muted. To me it was about the same as Olive Garden.
DD had spaghetti and meatballs. She said it was like Mom's. Not a compliment as my wife only uses dried pasta a canned sauce.
DS had pizza and loved it. Now, he loves Chuck E. Cheese pizza and said it was better than pizza we had in Brooklyn so take that with a mountain of salt.
I forget exactly what DW had but she had a similar opinion to mine. Not bad.
This is not a place we would be eager to go back to again but not one we'd scratch off and never go back to again. Our opinion of the place is similar to the food. So-So.
If it's Italian food you're after - we highly recommend Via Napoli. Very good and more authentic than Tony's.
