We ate here many, many years ago. Has anyone eaten here recently. We were thinking about adding this to our reservations next month. Thanks for any opinions on Tony's!! How about Kona for dinner as well. Some of the entres sound good, but you never know!! Thanks again

Kona is always excellent. Food is imaginative, very well presented, and very flavourful. Staff is also great. I think this and GF Cafe are 2 of the hidden dining treasures at WDW. Tony's, well, not so much. Food is ok (at best) but I find the service to be extremely unfriendly; all 3 times we've been there. It would also be nice if you could get a glass of wine with dinner there but with the 'no alcohol' rule at MK that's not possible.

Thank you both so much!! Glad to hear Kona is so good. When was your last visit to Tony's, we were looking for a place to eat in the MK if possible for our first night and the menu looked ok, but I really don't want to pick Tony's if the food is just so so. Thanks again.

My family loves Tony's. The service we had was the best we had during our whole trip. We last visited in Aug of 2007 and we are heading back this year in June.

We also love Kona as well. Great food and awesome desserts!

We haven't yet done Kona, but go to Tony's every visit. There's something very charming about it, something the entire family latched onto. I know sometimes it gets a rough rating on the boards, but we really adore it.

I've never eaten at Kona but we love Tony's Town Square. My DH and I both had the chicken parm and liked it. It is a very cute theme too.

Actually, we did both in mid-March.

We liked Kona, certainly worth it (almost) just for the bread! I was disappointed in my steak, but it was a quality of meat issue (which seems to be a Disney issue, not a Kona one), not how it was prepared.

Tony's, despite the negative reviews I see here all the time, was good too. Service speed was odd (apps and entrees came out almost at the same time), but the food was good, especially for a restaurant inside the park.

Thank you all so much for your help. I think we will eat at both this trip. We bry to pick a new place especially when on free dining or in this case we will have the free 500 gift card and since we have Tables in Wonderland, we are still eating at a TS each day. It was easy at this late notice to make all dinner reservations except for O'hana's. We will miss it this trip since the only reservation was late at 9:50. Thanks again. If there are any other suggestions on the meals, please post them!! I was interested in the Shrimp Scampi at Tony's and the Shrimp and Scallops at Kona. Thanks

I like Kona very much, although it can be on the bustling side of the scale. The food was very good and the service was great.
I have not tried Tony's yet.
Have a Great Trip

We had dinner at Kona and lunch at Tony's the first week in March. Kona was excellent. Tony's was OK. The food was average, service was good but I just love the decor of this restaurant. I will say that Lady and the Tramp is one of my favorites and that is probably why I love it so much. I think because of the food quality I prefer it for lunch over dinner.

We are planning to eat at both places again on our next trip.

I had dinner at Kona back in Sept. 07 and it was excellent! DD and I had breakfast there in May 08 and it was OK. DD and I ate at Tony's last year and the food was just OK, but the service was the best!! :thumbsup2

We ate at Tony's last month (full review and tons of pics in my March link). The calamari was to die for, the meal was a bit rushed but we liked the food alot, so much that DH asked me to get a ressie for our June trip
