Our trip is the 1st week of September so we will be there for the free dining which seemed like a good idea but now I'm going nuts trying to plan everything out. I have 5 of our 7 TS meals scheduled but want to keep an open schedule for a few days, so my question is do you think we would be able to walk in at Tonys Town or The Plaza for a lunch or dinner? We are planning on being at MK on Friday and would rather not schedule a meal and seems like these 2 are about the least popular places to eat. I realize I wont be getting the best value from the DDP but I would rather have a more open schedule instead of being locked into such a strick schedule.

We loved the Plaza for lunch. They had excellent sandwiches and shakes! I would go for that.

We love the Plaza for lunch, too. The last time we were at Tony's, we had deplorable service and meals. Haven't been back since so maybe it has changed. Anyway, I would recommend the Plaza. Have fun!:)

I haven't had the Plaza so can't comment on that one.

We did do Tony's as walk ins recently (tells you how popular it is). We didn't like it at all and wouldn't go back.

Both are good, I've been to both. Tony's is alittle more upscale than the Plaza. However, you are there during free dining, there will be no walk ins anywhere. The restaurants will be extremely busy! I'd make your ADR's or you'll be stick w/out!

Plaza, hands down. Don't like Tony's at all, IMHO it's a wasted space of a prime location in the MK.:sad2:
