We will be at MK on 12/9 for MVMCP. I currently have a PS for Tony's but have my doubts about this restaurant. Please give me any recent reviews.

Also, can you tell me if the menu has changed significantly - the last menu on allearsnet is over a year old.

Thanks in advance!!!

Not recent but we have been there twice and that was two times too many!!!! Very limited menu, horrible food, terrible service both times. It's a shame because the location and atmosphere is great.... I really wanted to like this restaurant!!!

Sorry... I know that's not what you want to hear.

We have been there twice also, the most recent this past September. We had wonderful meals both times and I happen to be fussy about my Italian food. The staff and service were excellent and as we were exiting in Sept., Spectromagic was passing by. I know this place gets lots of bad reviews but not from me. All I can say is try it for yourself and then write your own review to share with others.

We had a reservation there our last trip and wound up canceling upon arrival. The menu is very limited and we weren't thrilled by the selections. It had nice atmosphere, but unappealing meal choices. I was very disappointed.

I have eaten there once, back in June. I found the food good, but I would recommend asking for a room inside, and NOT on the glassed-in porch area. The sound kept bouncing off all the glass walls, and made it hard to hear, especially with lots of little kids in the room.

I'd like to go back, but only if I can sit inside! :)

my son and I ate lunch there in june while mom was being pampered at the spa

it was a great atmosphere...we were sat right by the fountain in the middle

the menu was nothing special, I had a sandwich and he had pizza

the food was average

This is a must-do for us each trip. Granted there isn't a ton to choose from but we love what they do offer. The theming is very detailed and very well done.

We found the prices for dinner a little steep but portions were huge. Pasta sauce tasted canned, hard to taste and herbs or spices in the red sauce. The bread and dipping sauce that they bring to the table was a big hit with the kids. In all, my red sauce was not as tasty as I have had at Olive Garden and I'm not a fan of theirs either. Maybe it was just my personal taste though. Dinner for 2 adults and two kids wiht sodas was around $70 plus tip. Had an excellent server though.

Ate dinner there in August. Food is OK, but I also think it's over priced even by WDW standards. The spaghetti was average, and $18.50 - steep for the quality even though portions are huge. DH (fish) and my (pork) meals were slighly overcooked and a little dry - and these were meals > $20. DS LOVED the pizza, and it's a nice atmosphere and great location. Maybe lunch is a better bet, although that won't help you for MVMCP. JMHO...

We only went there once (August 2003). It's the only Disney restaurant we really disliked. Food wasn't very good and $18 for a bowl of bad spaghetti and meatballs left a bitter taste in my mouth.

We ate there once and truthfully, would never gp back.

Gotta add to the negatives on this one - no choices and I got really sick after eating there last December. We won't go back.

We go to Tony's every trip to Disney. We really like it. The portions are rather large, so my husband and I usually split an entree and a side salad. My children love this restaurant.

Tried it last November and it was just so-so. For the price, I did not think it was worth the money. I would recommend either the Crystal Palace, Liberty Tree Tavern or Cindy's.

I really don't like sharing bad reviews...I feel I should atleast give a restaurant 2 tries before I declare an opinion...but our first visit here (2003) was soooo horrible that I would not think of trying it again. The bread was stale....the steak ordered medium was charred beyond chewing...it took 45 minutes from the time we ordered to get our food so I didn't want to risk having it burned again...the kids were tired of waiting and complained their food was cold...I complained to the waitress...she didn't really apologize...just kind of shrugged her shoulders like there was nothing she could do...didn't even offer to re-do the steak....

Not sure what you're looking for....but we love eating at the castle, we've been 3 times for lunch and it's always been delicious! Well, atleast by my standards...I would pass Tony.

We have had dinner there twice and found it to be very good both times. In fact, DS liked it so much that when he went to Magical Music Days, he "herded" a group of 20 band members into the restaurant. They all enjoyed and were glad he knew to take them there. Yes, price-wise it is steep, but when I'm in Disney I expect that. Just my opinion!

I hate to give a bad review, but I have to say that I won't ever eat there again. A bunch of us had dinner there last October. The service was great, the food wasn't and it wasn't worth the money!

We have enjoyed every other restaurant at Disney and that is the only one that I won't be going back to. Sorry that I couldn't give it a better review.

We've been there 3 times, and are going again on our upcoming trip. We may be a bit biased because of what they did on our honeymoon - they had us recreate Lady and the Tramp's kiss, it was very cute and we had a lot of fun:D We've been on the Silver or Gold Plan each time, so price wasn't an issue (had to get our $'s worth!) - if you're on a plan they definitely let you know all of your options... We like the dipping sauce with the bread, and we usually get the pasta with chicken and tiramisu for dessert. None of it is knock-your-socks-off outstanding, but we enjoyed it. We've eaten on the porch, in the sun room, and by the fountain; each time the service was great and it was quiet - keep in mind we usually go at off-peak times in value season so I don't know how much that'll help you!

HTH:D

I too hate to be negative but.... YUCK!:crazy2:

Hands down our worst ever WDW meal for too many reasons to rehash. Our experience was last Feb.

Our back up plan that night was to eat at Spoodles when we returned to the BWI.... I wish we had done that!

We have eaten there twice and the food is not that great. I know good Italian (DH's mom is from Italy) and this isn't it. I have to say that you are much better off going to lunch. I had a pretty decent antipasta and my DS's enjoyed their pizza. The atmosphere is pretty good (especially around Specto and Flag Retreat) but stick to the primi patti.
