Anyone recently eaten at Tony's?? I have to say that I have always be enamored by Lady and the Tramp and would love to go just once. Please tell me about your experience there. Any pics would be great also. If you can recommend anything, that would be fantastic! I am think of going there for lunch..maybe dinner.

p.s.....I am a vegetarian and hubby is a total meat eater

we went in October and I have to say it wasn't my favorite. we had a fairly late reservation and then they were about an hour behind. Our waitress was probably tired from a long night but she was awful. Never came to check on us, wasn't even friendly. I felt rushed, like she couldn't wait to get rid of us.

now, the food was pretty good. so maybe on a night they hadn't overbooked and with the right waitstaff I may have enjoyed it more.

My wife is Vegan and I am a Meater. We loved it there. In fact my wife went there twice with our girls. The chef came out and spoke to her about being vegan and since there are nothing on the menu he made a special dish for her both times. It was her favorite meal there. I had the Spicy seafood pasta dish and it was GREAT!!

Girls eat their entire meal both times! They still talk about Tony's being their favorite.

We ate there last March. Decor with all the Lady & The Tramp things is very cute . We didn't however care for the food that much , so we probably won't do this one again but it was nice to try for the one time for the Lady & The Tramp atmosphere.

Have been twice, first time three years ago was alot of fun and very good, and than two years ago was kinda disappointing, food was so-so, service subpar.
You have to go at least once to make your own mind about it, I will probably be going back in the future.

We went here last March with DMIL and DFIL. Our meal was just ok. We miss having breakfast here as the decor is cute, but we won't be going back.

We ate lunch there in Oct and it was a hit with us...we are trying dinner there in a few days

Neither bad nor good. A "meh" experience all the way around. The food was neither the best nor the worst, the service could have been better but it wasn't the pits. It's fine for convenience or if you really like the theme, but for great food I'd go elsewhere.

I really enjoyed our meal at Tony's. We went for lunch the day we arrived. Since we had such an early flight, we got the first reservation they had at opening. I had the shrimp scampi which was delicious. My boyfriend had the Chicken Parmigiana and he loved it. I even asked him how the sauce was because I know that bland sauce was one of the major complaints I've heard here and on allears, but he said it was very good.

I added the pictures from our meal, though they're a bit out of focus....sorry!

we went in August, and plan on going back in this June. We loved it there!

We went for an early dinner, and had to wait about 20 minutes to be seated. Even for an early dinner, it was already packed inside the little waiting area.

once we were seated, they brought us bread and oil, really good

Mom had this, sorry, don't remember exactly what it was, but it's obviously some kind of steak lol

Little sis and I both had CHicken Parm, we both loved it, but I will admit, I have had better here in Houston

For dessert, mom had Lemon crust cake (I think that's what it was called)

Sis had the ice cream bomb

and I had the chefs cheesecake ( I think that's what it's called)

it was all really really good food, and we would go back anytime:thumbsup2

Thank you all so much! I was able to get the first lunch on our first full day there...yeah!!! Now, do they still have the smoothie that comes in a collectors glass that you can purchase? I read about it years ago and really would love to have one.

Glad I found this thread on here b/c i was going to ask about Tony's Town Square. I never knew this place existed until a few months ago when planning our cancelled trip (we were supposed to be going next week)..but have changed our dates. I'd like to try this as well!!

I really want to try this to...let me know how it was :)

late lunch at tony's on our first day at MK is always a tradition for us. in nicer weather, we love to sit out on the porch and watch the afternoon parade. it's not the greatest food in the world but it's certainly decent. we're not into character meals and the other table service restaurants don't have a lot of appeal to us.

I just ate there a week ago Saturday night and loved it. I have a very bad stomach so I shared the spaghetti and meatballs. I found them to be very tasty and not overly tangy, etc. I also had the tomato and mozzarella salad, which I devoured. The bread and oil with herbs was also delicious and was destroyed by each table! I'm Italian from a very Italian neighborhood and I'm very picky with Italian foods when I eat out, but I would definitely go back! I have pictures, but just of me and the DBF sharing a spaghetti like Lady&the Tramp, which I doubt would aid in your decision :rotfl: ! But yes, I would definitely give it a try. Everyone in my Grand Gathering loved their meals, and it was pretty reasonable.

Tony's is a must for us every trip! I've read so many mixed reviews, but we've never had a problem with it.

Tony's is like the sleeper hit of MK restaurants... everyone always thinks of CRT or Crystal Palace, or even Liberty Tree Tavern first when you mention MK restaurants. Those are flashier perhaps in terms of atmosphere and character meet-and-greets, but Tony's holds its own with its food and prices.

It's a charming place. Personally, I like its convenience to the Park entrance. IMO, that location is excellent, and unlike Crystal Palace, you can sometimes see the park's parades from Tony's veranda.

I could eat that shrimp pasta dish off that previous poster's picture right now.

This is very helpful - I think I might try to get an ADR for Tony's instead of 1900 Park Fare our first night, so we can stay in the park and see Spectromagic and Wishes....

I think the kids would give up the one character meal...I hope.
