Can anyone tell me how they like (or didn't like) Tony Town Square in the Magic Kindom? This is somewhere my family has always wanted to try. Thanks everyone

Despite some negative reviews, our family enjoyed the meal very much. The kids were"starving" and the waiter was quick to take care of us. The food was served promptly and while no better that Olive Garden we didn't expect gourmet. All in all a satisfying experience, and we're going back this year too.

We went last year and thought it was one of the best meals we have had. The portions, however, are huge. And after appetizers, etc., we hardly could eat any of our dessert. The atmospher is quite nice and the service was the best!

Forgive my spelling but... their Tieramasue :goodvibes is the best! That's normally what I get at all TS, so have a lot to compare.

We really enjoyed the place and will go back.

the place was very cute..we had a good time but the food was terrible! yes it is right on par with olive garden..yuck!

We had dinner there in December and have reservations for our upcoming trip as well. As previously mentioned, it's not gourmet by any means, but we enjoyed it and the restaurant is lovely!

I have had dinner meals at Tony's about three times now. I am a big fan of Italian food and really love my pasta products. The atmosphere is a little noisy but nice. The wait staff has been pretty good there and prompt. However, some of the meals are a little hit and miss.

For instance, I'm fairly simple. I like Spaghetti/Meatballs which Tony has on the menu. The meatball will sit in your stomach like a rock and the tomato sauce is a thick, sweet, pasty sauce that says right on the menu that they use the Butoni brand of products in their entrees. Butoni is like Ragu basically. I have to add water to the sauce to make it more realisitc. I almost can't believe that Disney cannot create a easy, fresh tomato sauce of their own for such a simple dish. I can open a can of whole tomatoes, saute some garlic and onion in olive oil, add a few spices and I would have a better winner than their sauce and inexpensively.
Now, my husband has had some entrees that were really nicely prepared and well thought out but pricey 25 dollars +. I just think for the money that I would rather eat at say the Crystal Palace for that park anyway.

I would say at least try Tony's once; it is not horrible by any means.

We have been there for lunch once and dinner once. I, personaly, love the lunch menu better. We found it to be charming! I hear lots of negative reviews for lots of places and I think it is always important to remember one thing:

Different Strokes for Different Folks.

You never know!

I say, if it's a place you want to try, go for it! It's Disney!!!

I ate there 2 years ago and liked it. I do remember that it was a long meal and my last night in MK. There was still so much I wanted to do before the park closed, so I remember being rather impatient to finish dinner. It was a rather expensive dinner, as I recall. I am eating there again during free dining and made an earlier ADR so I wouldn't feel so rushed at park closing.

We thought the food was just OK but it's a cute place. There really aren't any other TS options in MK. What we did love was the fact that if your reservation is timed right and you get outdoor or window seating, you get a pretty good view of the evening parade w/out having to sit around outside for a good spot. We were at the front of Main Street in time for
Wishes too which made for a quick exit.

My DW and I will be eatting at Tony`s on Oct 3rd . We eat at Tony`s each trip to WDW and we vist once to twice a year. We do lunch or dinner both.I get the Spaghetti/Meatballs DW gets dfferent each time. We love the food and the restaurant. We will be there at Tony`s on our 5th wedding anniversary ,which is Oct 4th. We have our favors and Tony`s is on the ressie list first.

We hope that Tony's will be fun because we're trying it for the 1st time
on this upcoming trip.
I really like Olive Garden so I guess I might like the food.
Has anyone ever ate the Grilled fish at lunch?
That's what I'm thinking of ordering.:thumbsup2

We went on our anniversary for lunch. Very nice low-key celebration. The restaurant was spacious where we were - the sunny porch. Food was good. The sauce is very sweet - I bet to appeal to children. I got the spag and meatballs and DH had baked ziti. With salads and garlic bread I could only take a taste of the lemon walnut cake which was delicious. Wait staff was attentive and I left extra for a tip. We had a WONDERFUL time there and would go back in a minute! :thumbsup2

I believe that Tony's has improved a great deal. We had gone there for years for breakfast and stopped when it seemed like the quality of the food was declining. Now that it is only lunch and dinner the quality is great and the service is very good.

Had some wonderful desserts there as well.
