Tonight's the first MVMCP ...

Also, how are the CM's going to know that I have party tickets? Did I read about a bracelet? Where/How do I get the bracelet?

TIA!

In the ToonTown Meeting Rooms, they only had two open. Mickey, Minnie, and Daisy were greeting in one room.

Were they in special holiday outfits?

My DD is into all the different clothing!

We are going the 15th! My question is: if we have park tickets for that day and MVMCP tickets, can we go in the MK around 5ish and just stay? Anyone know how this works/has worked in the past? TIA
Laura

TourGuide Mike mentions they take our MVMCP tickets and give us a bracelet. We don't get to keep our tickets for souveniers???

I was there on Sunday and they were holding people in Frontierland not Tomorrowland. In fact, we were supposed to meet people in Tomorrowland and had to explain to the CMs who were trying to make everyone leave.
It was strange though because the first Twas the Night Before Christmas show was starting in Tomorrowland at 6:45 so there were a lot of people lined all the way up to TTA for the show.
We were sitting in the smoking area by SM when the CMs were walking around and asking people to leave Tomorrowland.

They give you a bracelet but they don't take your ticket, you slip it into the ticket machines just like you do your parkhopper and then you can keep it.

Someone asked about the cookie spots, they were giving them away at at the Noodle Station, we didn't get them from anywhere else... They were really yummy, Snickerdoodles I think!

Thanks for this info Michelina! I wanted to know ahead of time for the same reason - meeting up with the rest of our group. It makes it sooo much easier knowing what the plan is before getting there.

Do the CM's let the people in line for the Twas the Night Before Christmas show stay there? or did they have to leave also?

And where was the photo station in Frontierland? Were they allowing people to line up earlier than 7pm? The last party we attended, we got in line for photos like around 5:30 and they started taking them about 6-ish. Over and done with - very nice!

Minnie was dressed in special holiday clothes, I think it was red and white. Mickey was in his classic Christmas attire with the tall hat. Daisy was only wearing a red/white scarf with her normal pink dress. :) :)

We will be at the party Dec 13th. My husband and I have already been to one, but MIL, FIL, SIL, neice and nephew have never been to one. I can't wait. It's almost here!

We just got back last night - went to MVMCP on Sunday, the 27th and Tuesday, the 29th. Sunday's party was a lot more crowded but still very fun. We went into the park around 2 or so. They gave out bracelets by the big Christmas tree (I think it was the pathway to tomorrowland) right at 4 p.m. They tried to have the partygoers head to frontierland (around park closing at 6). The other rides shut down at 6 but they kept big thunder mt. and splash mt. open and were checking wristbands. The first night we caught the show in front of the castle, the show in tomorrowland (Mickey's 'twas the night before xmas), the parade and fireworks. Personally, I thought the fireworks were incredible. I love wishes but I think these were even better. Some of the effects were great. During the 2nd party, we skipped the shows and went on more rides - with very little waits. The kids also did the holiday hop for a few minutes. It was cute with characters from Pinocchio but we didn't stay there long. We also watched the parade and fireworks again - definitely worth it. They gave out cocoa and cookies at Tomorrowland Noodle terrace again. I also saw a sign for them in Liberty square on the way into Fantasyland. We didn't wait in line for the photo - the lines weren't that long (I think they said around 20 min) but we usually leave between 10:30 and 11, so it takes up too much time. All in all, lots of fun. I really think holiday wishes were the best.
Seemed to encounter a few rude people - (like you always do) but we didn't let it bother us. Like people who sit at the curb for the parades but block up space with empty carriages (turned sideways) while other kids stand behind them. (We always move back and let any little kids up front) - geesh, I'm tall enough to see over them! And the one I just LOVED - the woman in the EVC (is that right or ecv?) with the big old striped canopy on top, who pulls up to the very front of the crowd for the show in front of the castle. Her husband pulls out his camcorder and they both squeeze onto the seat. Meanwhile, they're blocking the show from all the little kids sitting behind them...just cracks me up. I could understand if just the woman sat in it - and it didn't have a big BLOCKING canopy on it...Sorry, I got a little carried away. The parties were great though - have fun!

Maybe I missed it, but was anyone able to get into the park at 4:00 with their mvmcp ticket?

Thanks for sending me the scans, I have posted them on my work's site for anyone to download/view. There is two jpg files, the front and back.

There should be one more scan being sent to me to add the full map and 1/3 of the key. Check back here or add the number "3" to the URL above to get it when I receive it.

Thanks for the scan! Loved to see all the information..

but where do you go to get the pictures taken??

There are several places. We were there for the 29th and December 1st. The spot in tomorrowland is the most crowded. If you can wait until around 10pm you can just about walk right up to the photo spot over by the Alladin magic carpet rides. They didn't have the spots marked on the map this year as clearly as they have been in the past.

Crowds for the 29th were very light. Crowds on Dec 1st were heavier. One of the cast members told us that Disney had given tickets to employees for Dec 1st as they didn't want the parks to seem empty. It was a nice perk for them but made it more crowded for us.

The fireworks were spectacular -- much better than wishes or any others we have seen in previous years. One time we watched from Fantasyland and the other time we watched from the bridge by the castle. The view looking towards the castle was much better. Although, be warned that they do not turn the lights off on the Christmas tree, by the bridge, by the castle. If you stand behind it you will miss some of the fireworks. Stand to either side and you will be fine.

I would love to video tape the 'Twas the Night Before Christmas show to watch the night before Christmas.... Can I?

Off to read up on the Fantasyland Holiday Hop!!!

Fantasyland Holiday Hop is just that. They have a DJ there playing songs and there are always characters there dancing with whoever wants to dance. Kids and adults alike come and go dancing with whoever is there. It is great, especially when you have characters that enjoy what they are doing. Lots of fun for younger kids, teens and adults who enjoy being young again. We even like to just watch.
