We've got a bit of a milky sky but hopefully we'll get to see it OK. The countdown continues... 1 hour - 57 minutes.

It is pretty hazy over here on the coast.

I'm trying to decide if I should be brave and actually go outside to watch, or just stay in the AC and watch thru a window, LOL.

I need to get going or I'll be watching from my office window. I am sure I will brave the heat and watch it from our screened-in patio.

First, I'm glad they got up OK! However, these were the poorest conditions for taking pictures that I've seen so far. The haze was really a factor.

I felt bad for my daughter. All day long I'd been raving about how beautiful it is and she was like... is that it? We didn't see it at all until it got up pretty high and then, only for about 15 seconds and it disappeared back into the haze.

Just one photo and it's not that great.

I watched it on Foxnews. Look like it was a flawless take-off. I'd love to be able to see it down there sometime.

I am so excited for Barb Morgan! It was a beautiful launch on the coast. We didn't take any pictures though. We broke out the binoculars and had the coolest view. It was really something when the solid rocket boosters separated. You could see them with your own eyes for a long time.
