Tonight on the travel channel

I watched it and taped it. I'll share with my nieces, so we can relive our recent trip.....I got so exited when they showed the Hoop De Doo Revue. That was one of our great memories from that trip.

Yes, I was the blonde (ish) girl who did most of the talking in our group. The 3 girlfriends. It was a blast to film. The people from Lightship were amazing to work with.

Nope! They were rather strict about mentions of "unofficial" Disney websites. To make sure it got on the air, I had to just say that I saw it on the Internet...

I don't think any mentions of any of the sites (here, Mousesavers, etc.) made it on...

Great show! I had to wonder, though, why not one of the Disney obsessed families were members of DVC. Seems like one DVC family should have been included.

While I think they could have easily included a DVC member, as they are usually huge Disney Fans, I'm betting they picked these certain groups because that is who the Travel Channel and Disney are trying to sell trips to--the
regular" vacationers, so to speak. So, they included a family with small kids, a larger family, a couple and a group of friends. I noticed they got their plug in for Magical Gatherings.

Actually, two out of our group of eight are DVC members. They own at BCVs and Saratoga Springs. We actually moved over to the BWVs after we finished filming the show to finish out the rest of our trip. We love all the home away from home resorts.

I'm David Lloyd -- the father of the family on the Travel Channel special. Thanks for all the nice things you folks are saying here. Having been licked by the flames on other boards, it's nice to hear some positive things about the show.

Good to see Erika (though we never met) and the young adult gal (I believe we met when you were leaving and I was coming in for our interviews).

Looks like we get to see this again on Thursday. I'll be checking these boards for the next few days if you have any questions.

We, too are going back in 10 days -- Hey Erika, let's grab a Turkey leg!

Yes, we did meet briefly while we were filming our sit downs in the gazebo. Hope you had as much fun as I did with the Lightship crew filming the show.
