TONIGHT is the night.... FP+

Well tonight it is my turn to book FP+ for our trip. We have been to Disney 4 other times but it was before the FP+ system. I am a little nervous and unsure of what to pick. If anyone has the ENERGY/TIME to review my picks and let me know if I am messing up... I would really appreciate it Just so you know this will probably be our last trip for a while due to my kids ages (16 and 14). They chose the trip this year but I am afraid they are beginning to outgrow alot of Disney . This trip will be for 4 people (Me, Hubby, Daughter 16, Son 14).

May 24th - Arrival Day - Heading to Epcot around 4:00 pm
- Soarin
-Mission Space
-Spaceship Earth
(Dinner at Via Napoli )

May 25th - Animal Kingdom
- Expedition Everest
- Kali River Rapids
- Dinosaur
**Safari will be done at Rope Drop
(Dinner at Whispering Cannon)

May 26th - Typhoon Lagoon Water Park & Hollywood Studios that evening
- Fantasmic
- Tower of Terror
- Star Tours
(Dinner at Sci Fi)

May 27th - Magic Kingdom
- Seven Dwarfs
- Splash Mountain
- Big Thunder Railroad
(Dinner at Ohana's )

May 28th - Hollywood Studios
- Toy Story
- Tower of Terror
- Voyage of Mermaid
(Dinner at 50's Prime Time)

May 29th - Magic Kingdom
- Space Mountain
- Big Thunder Railroad
- Wishes
(Breakfast at Crystal Palace 8:00 am)

May 30th - Blizzard Beach Water Park & Downtown Disney that evening
NO FAST PASSES THIS DAY

May 31st - EPCOT - LAST DAY
- Test Track
- Mission Space
- Spaceship Earth
(Dinner at Yachtsman Steakhouse)

I would really like anyone's feedback if I need to make some changes. Just so you know we are not the family who likes to camp out for a spot to watch fireworks. This is my reasoning for the Wishes FP. THANK YOU SO MUCH for taking the time to read this.

Looks like a fine time to me, I see no obvious issues with your choices and would expect all of them to be available. Relax, and good luck!

Your choices for Fastpasses and dining look good to me.

On timing, I'd say I liked having my Fastpasses grouped in terms of location and timed around a planned meal time. That way, I felt we progresses around the park logically, with minimal back and forth, and also only had to be clock-watching once. Be prepared for my first FP time and then do ride, lunch, ride ride; or ride, ride, dinner, ride and the rest of the day we were not on a schedule.

When booking your FPs originally, you may not get them to quite line up in order like this, but you can select one option Disney gives you and then adjust individual FPs as you like.

We're arriving the same day. We'll be at DAK the same day - half day for us - with the same FP+. Also in the evenings of the 27th and 29th at the MK.

Looks like a great plan! I've never needed a FP for Dinosaur, but seeing how your doing Safari at rope drop there's not much else to use it on so You Go Girl!!

Hope it helps - but I will say my approach works well if you don't have an objective of necessarily getting additional FPs at the kiosks after your first 3 are used& may not be useful for getting extra FPs. We use rope drop to get on a lot of rides then use FPs, shows and secondary rides during the busy times of midday. I'm pretty sure people who intend to get as many FPs as possible would suggest getting FPs earlier in the day, so they are used and you can head to the kiosk for more sooner.

Yes, that is my approach as well. We will be at rope drop each day and try to get some rides done before the mass crowd hits I was thinking about getting my FP's to start around 10:00 or 11:00, then do lunch, and then two last FP's. I am not interested in running to Kioske machines to wait in line to see what "might" be available . Thank you
