your pictures are just so gorgeous! You guys really are such a great looking couple. i actually kind of like the look rain - it gives everything a nice shiny look to it, haha.

can't wait for more! :surfweb:

Toni-I love the one with the umbrella in the rain, one of my favorites

The pictures really did turn out great. I like the shots with the picture of the pier behind you to kind of tie in your home state :goodvibes That was fantastic that Misty went out of her way to get the best shots. When I was looking at the carriage shot of you and Bobby standing with the umbrella I thought to myself I wonder how the guy who was leading the carriage (not sure if that is the right term) was able to sit there so properly in that rain ;) Looking forward to reading about the reception!

OMG I love them all but the last one of Bobby kissing your shoulder is my fav.. so romantic and sweet!

Wow go Misty! Those are some great shots Toni!

You know, the rain did add that extra special touch and I cannot tell how wonderful it is not to have to squint becuase its so sunny!

really, Toni, misty did a wonderful job!

Thank you Abby!!! The rain was a blessing in disguise. I really love what it added to the pictures. It actually turned out to be a very romantic addition to the wedding. :rotfl:

I LOVE this photo!! It just looks soooooooooooooooooo wistfully romantic!! :cloud9:

Bob xoxoxoxox

Thank you!!! That is actually one of my favorites too! I love seeing the rain and us huddled under the umbrella.

I love your photos Toni, especially the last one. You can really see the love between the two of you. Misti did a great job!

Glad you were able to get people to move for your fireplace photos. We started out okay but then a group of people who allegedly spoke "No English" came and took over. :sad2:

Thank you!! People were so sweet that day. They were all worried about my dress running through the puddles. LOL. Its funny because when we went into the lobby of the Boardwalk, my train was so wet I was mopping the floors..LOL. I thought someone was going to fall on the water. :rotfl:

Aww Toni I love the ones of you and Bobby! So pretty and not you know what LMAO!!!!

I love the one of you two up against the wall. So romantic.

Thank Lynn!!!!!!! LMAO!

I loved how we actually were able to tie in Jersey. It was pretty cool. I couldn't believe Misty laid down in a puddle. She did that several times. Poor girl was soaked. She loves what she does though. Nelio was also great. He was holding my train up for me and holding the umbrella. They were both sweethearts. That poor guy on the carriage was so good. He just sat patiently in the rain while we took pictures. I just kept thinking he is probably cursing us out in his head. :lmao:

beautiful Toni! your train was just spectacular

Thank you Sabrina!!! How is the planning coming along? Are you guys going for the castle still?

OMG I love them all but the last one of Bobby kissing your shoulder is my fav.. so romantic and sweet!

Thank you!! That is really one of my favorites. Bobby looked like he actually liked me there. :rotfl:

Toni, I've been following your PJ for awhile now and your wedding was amazing! You looked stunning and your pictures are incredible! We are thinking of using Misty for our ceremony.

Every picture I see of you guys is great, you don't take a bad pic! I love the one against the wall, very romantic and great shot of the rings too! Your pics are making me soooooo happy we went with Misty!

Misty is wonderful! You would love her. Its nice because she knew exactly what shots I wanted and I think alot of that has to do with her being a woman and knowing what is important to the bride. Not only that but she was such a great help to me throughout the day fixing my broken bustle and touching up my makeup.

Toni,
I just spent a good part of my night reading your wedding TR and I must say your pictures are absolutely gorgeous, as are you! I watched your courtship story, and I started crying, it was so sweet. I am such a sap for these things. :rotfl:

I cannot wait to read more, thank you for sharing! :goodvibes

I have uploaded pictures for my next installment. I was going to post while I am at work but I am really busy now. I will do the next installment tonight!

The pictures are just beautiful- I agree, the rain really adds to the romantic feel! I'm so excited to be using Misty now too! Can't wait to see more!

Ok, so now I have read the whole thing & I must say I have loved every minute of it.
I have to tell you that we have several things in common. I met my DH on yahoo & our first date was at Applebee's & we had a destination wedding too (Jamaica). :cool1: And I am bugging my DH about a vow renewal too at our 10 year point-which will be 2013.
I loved all the thought & details you put into your planning.
Your MK photo session pics were great & I loved your courtship video!!!!
Your pictures are gorgeous!!!!!! I think the black umbrellas on either side of Cindy's carriage make it look like a hidden Mickey.
Glad everything worked out even with the rain & that they put you in such a perfect room that went with your color scheme. It turned out really beautiful.
Can't wait to hear all about your reception.

I was never a big fan of the Boardwalk since I'm from NJ (actually heading over to the Point Pleasant Boardwalk soon) but your TR is really making me change my mind. Plus I love how they have a recreation of Lucy. :yay:

Thank you! I know I ended up loving the rain. Who would have thought!? Misty is amazing.

LOL how cool is that! Applebees is the best place to go for a first date I guess. lol. That would be really nice if you could do a vow renewal! I already want a vow renewal. :rotfl: something small of course. Maybe an escape! I never realized about the umbrellas making a hidden mickey! That is pretty cool! There are hidden mickey's everywhere!

I thought I wouldn't be a fan of it too since a boardwalk is kind of something we see all the time but Disney's boardwalk is great! I wish there was a boardwalk like that in Jersey. :lmao:

Wedding Day Part 5
Reception, Part 1 (lol lots of parts to this story!)

Well I have some free time at work now so I thought I would sneak in a post. I may not have free time when I go home tonight because I do have some Animal Crossing to play. lol

So we are finally up to the reception! Well at least the first part.

So after we did our pictures we headed up into the long and twisting hallways of the Boardwalk to go to the Attic. I was escorted by my husband, Misty, Nelio and Celeste's assistant. I wanted to bustle my dress before I went in since we were going to do the dances right away so Celeste's assistant helped. I somehow broke off one of the bustle ties so half of my train was drooping. Misty put down her camera and started to help. She went to Celeste, who was already in the Attic to see if she had a pin or something to hook my bustle. Celeste did end up having a pin and Misty went to the rescue fixing my bustle! Good old Misty!

While we were taking pictures and waiting to go inside, our guests were munching on the appetizers which included these yummy dishes:

-Antipasta Display with Bread Sticks
-Spanakopitas with Artichoke Tomato Tapenade
-Pan-seared Crab Cakes with Lemon Dill Cream

Here are a few food pics

Sorry, no crab cake picture but they were yummy. At least they were at the planning session.

I couldn't wait to see what they had done to the Attic. If you recall, I was unsure about how beautiful the Attic could be. I was used to the whole ballroom thing for weddings so I was a bit nervous about the Attic. I didn't have anything to worry about because they made it look gorgeous!!! Here are some pictures of the decor. I think the colors I picked turned out to be the perfect match for the Attic.

Everything looked so elegant and beautiful! I was very pleased!

We waited by the Attic sign for our "master of ceremonies" a.k.a. my cousin Jim to announce us in. He did a really good job. I have to give him lots of credit.

Due to the rain we had to dance inside near our cake table. We had plenty of room though. The people who were seated out on the porch area just came in and took pictures. No problems at all.

Our first dance was At Last by Etta James. At Last Not "our" song but I could not find violin music for our song which is Unbelievable by Craig David Unbelievable. It was still nice though. The violinist did an excellent job.

Then it was time for me and my dad. We danced to Daddy's Little Girl. Daddy's Little GirlI always hear this song at other weddings we go to and I think its adorable.

My dad doesn't like to be the center of the spotlight so it was hard for him to dance. He really didn't want to but of course he had to..lol. He did a great job though. It was over pretty quick and he did well. I was proud of him. :rotfl:

Next was Bobby and his mom. They danced to You Raise Me Up by Josh Groban. You Raise Me Up.

We were so glad to have the dances out of the way. I think that is the boring part for most. I mean the guests are waiting for you to get done dancing so that they can eat! LOL.

So after the dances we sat down for the best man's toast. The best man and Bobby have been friends for about 20 years. He got very emotional during the speech and couldn't finish it. It was very sweet. I didn't know he had it in him..lol.

Then my "master of ceremonies" a.k.a. cousin/reader LOL did the prayer. He is a man of many talents!

l_64ed963ff7e54ac3b2489916ff164c0e.jpg

Finally it was time to eat! I fully intended to eat! I know lots of brides didn't touch the food on their wedding day but I wanted to make sure I did. That will come in my next installment!

So stay tuned for the Reception, Part 2, Food and other fun things. :yay:
