You look like you were having so much fun with the pictures! You look so happy and not stressed at all. I can't wait to see the rest of the day!

I really was! I am a big picture ham so it was fun for me. I really wasn't stressed out which was amazing.

i love the pics you look amazing. I think my favorite is of you sitting in the huge oversize chair. I also love Bobby getting kissed by his BM and him punching him too funny
:) Cant wait to see more

Thank you! I love the big chair too! I felt like a little kid or something. Bobby is always taking some kind of crazy picture. His brother and BM are just as bad as him.

Looks like you had a great time doing the pictures, even in the rain. You look so calm; I would have been devestated if they had moved us inside (unless I had seen how beautiful your setup was). I don't know how you looked so relaxed since you hadn't seen it at the time!

I was having a great time! I figured there was not much I could do about the rain, everything was already set up inside so I might as well just go with the flow even if it was a little different than I wanted it to be.

Aww! I can't believe you left us hanging! I can't wait for the ceremony! Your pictures are just beautiful!

Thank you!!! I have to keep the TR suspenseful! (is that a word??) LOL

Aw thank you for updating i really enjoyed reading that thank you again

I love your BM dress they are exactly what I am hoping to find for my MOH

cant wait for the rest and I think you took it very well about being inside as i would of needed to re do my make up if it were me

Thank you! My MOH really loved the dress. They are from David's Bridal.

More stunning photos, looking forward to reading the next part, even though I did watch it online at the time!

Thank you!!! It is exciting that you got to watch it online! I can't wait to post about it all!

Yayyy!! Cant wait for the ceremony!!

LOL. I promise to get the ceremony up soon!

wonderful update Toni! all your pics came out so great. you look like you were having a wonderful time! i just noticed you moh is wearing the shoes i bought for my wedding. except mine are champagne colored :goodvibes

Thank you so much!! It was so much fun! That is funny you have the same shoes. She eventually changed them. Not because they hurt or anything like that, just because she hates heels..lol.

Aww great pics Toni! You look so relaxed in the middle of a downpour, I give you major props for that! I hope I can be as relaxed and calm and lovely as you were on my wedding day:goodvibes

Oh and the pic where your DH is punching his brother who is kissing him is too flippin' funny!:rotfl2:

Thank you!! I really was relaxed. I was having such a great time I didn't care about the rain. Actually looking back. I am glad it rained. It made for some interesting pictures!

absolutely gorgeous pictures!!!!! You make such a cute couple! Congrats!

Thank you so much! :goodvibes

beautiful Toni! you were so brave to go out in the rain with your dress. can't wait to read more!

Thank you!! I was brave I guess. I just figured it was going to get wet anyway I might as well get some good pictures out of it. Luckily the fabric it was made from dried really fast.

You look stunning....Misty did a great job....I am so glad your wedding day was great!

Thank you so much!! :goodvibes:goodvibes

Aww Toni they are all so gorgeous!!! Misty is amazing!!!!!!

Thank you Lynnie!!!!

Toni,

Lovely pics, as always!! I especially love the ones on that big couch....Can't wait for more!!

Those are some of my favorites too. Misty took so many fantastic pictures I really can't decide which I like the best.

Beautiful pictures! You looked great and stress free. I can't believe you handled being moved indoors so well. I would have gone all bridezilla. :lmao:

Thank you! I can't believe I handled it that well either especially after you spent months planning but I figured its done now so I might as well enjoy myself. LOL

More beautiful pics!! Can't wait to see pics from the ceremony!!

Thank you!!! I promise to get the ceremony up as soon as possible!

In other news................:lmao:
This weekend is our 2nd reception. It is going to be on Saturday so I won't be able to update my TR until next week but I will post pictures of the 2nd reception after my Disney TR is done. :thumbsup2

So exciting, I can't wait to see the shots from the ceremony. That is great that Disney was willing to wait so long before they moved it inside. I like how you got some little detail shots like the picture of you by the sign with your wedding posted. That's one thing about the in-park weddings, no sign to designate our day; I just have one from our rehearsal the day before :rotfl: The shots of you and Bobby separately before the ceremony our great. I love how he got shots with his family and the ones of you and your dad in the limo :cutie:

Enjoy your reception this weekend. I know with our at-home one it was a lot more overwhelming than our wedding because we had 4 times the number of people there. Just remember to enjoy it and to take everything in just like you did your wedding day because it is another very important day in your wedding celebration!

have fun at you wedding (again lol) I can't wait to see pics from your home recpetion, I bet it will be amazing!

Ceremony Time!~Marvin Gardens
February 2, 2009

Ok so I am off of work today because I had to be home while a security alarm company is installing an alarm system so this is the perfect time to update!

Ok so its time for the ceremony! After taking pictures Celeste's assistant, whose name escapes me at this time, told us that the carriage was arriving and it was time to head over to the ceremony. I couldn't believe that time had flown by that fast. It really does go by super fast while you are taking pictures and being fussed over. I was super excited to see Cinderella's Carriage in person since it was always so beautiful in pictures.

Misty caught pictures of the carriage pulling up to the Boardwalk.

38016.jpg

38018.jpg

These random people were also excited to see the carriage. lol
38032.jpg

I had been pretty worried that I wouldn't have the carriage because it was pouring rain out but according to Celeste they run the carriage in the rain. The only time they don't is if there is lightning. The poor horses slip on wet surfaces though so they really couldn't go to far like they would in nice weather.

I was so excited to see the carriage and get on it!! The pictures do not do the carriage justice and I couldn't believe I was actually going to ride on it. It was such an experience that you can't get any where else.

38044.jpg

I was terrified I was going to slip on the steps going up onto the carriage but happily I didn't!
38047.jpg

38055.jpg

Then it was time for my daddy and matron of honor to hop on.
38061.jpg

38069.jpg

We were all really excited to get to ride the carriage. It was really something my dad wanted to do. I didn't originally have it down but my dad insisted that we get the carriage. It was his feeling that you couldn't have a Disney wedding without it and that was all he wanted to do that day so we added it on. I mean he was paying for it so whatever he wanted...lol.
38075.jpg

38073.jpg

38087.jpg

Then we were all loaded on and we were off to the Boardwalk Convention Center. :sad2: no Sea Breeze Point. (sigh)
38102.jpg

38106.jpg

38115.jpg

38143.jpg

So we are traveling along riding in the fantastic carriage and along with thinking wow this carriage is super cool. I can't believe I am riding in it. My mind is also drifting off to oh no I am about to get married in a ballroom and not at all the place I had planned for all these months. My poor SBP was rained out. So in the middle of this thinking we arrived at the Boardwalk Convention Center which is really not far at all from the lobby of the Boardwalk so it was a shorter ride on the carriage than it would have been had we been married at SBP but it was still awesome and I knew I would be back on the carriage with my husband after our ceremony.

This is what I arrived to! Celeste, her assistant and some family members clapping at our arrival. That was a pleasant surprise.

38185.jpg

38166.jpg

38169.jpg

38170.jpg

38175.jpg

After we piled off we headed into the convention center which is a very beautiful building. I had been there for my tasting too but I didn't really look around. It was kind of cool to see the paintings of the Steel Pier in Atlantic City since it does NOT look like that now!! LOL.

38198.jpg

38211.jpg

We met up with Rev. Jack Day and he was so cute in his little outfit. I am so glad that I chose him. He was an absolute joy that day!
38219.jpg

While we are walking in all I could think about was where is this ceremony supposed to be, how is it going to be set up. I mean I had requested several things to be at SBP like the tulle swag, ribbons on the railings going up to SBP, chair covers...things like that and I couldn't imagine how they were going to put these things out (with the exception of the chair covers). All I pictured was an ugly plain ballroom. Ugh. So I found out that the ceremony was in the Marvin Gardens ballroom. Outside of the ballroom doors they had a table set up with my programs. They also had the individual sand vases out ready for the moms to bring down to the altar.

38232.jpg

38235.jpg

programs38225-1.jpg

So here is what the ceremony looked like. Of course I didn't know it at the time these pictures were taken but it was fantastic. Much much better than I thought it would be. They still had everything that I had asked for. It was amazing Disney floral made it look in such a short time because remember they did this all at the last minute waiting to see if the weather would cooperate which it didn't..lol. The one great thing about the room is that it had my colors so everything went really well together. The walls and carpet were pink and green which was perfect.

38230.jpg

This is the memorial vase we had for those that had passed away like our grandparents, Bobby's aunt and uncle....

38236.jpg

This was one of the roses for the mother's presentation. Where we give the mothers roses in the middle of the ceremony. They were so pretty. The other two were on the altar. This rose was Bobby's step-mothers who at the last minute decided she didn't want to go so we left hers on the chair.
38242.jpg

My dad and I were put in a room next to the Marvin Gardens ballroom which was probably another part of the Marvin Gardens room. I could hear everything going on in the room. I heard the violinst playing so I gave my dad the rundown. Oh that is the mothers going in now.

38263.jpg

Now here go the men (Can you Feel the Love Tonight~The Lion King)

Of course the mend were supposed to be Bobby, Rev. Jack and the best man but my cousin couldn't see a thing since she refused to wear her glasses so the best man offered to walk her down which was sweet.

Bobby looks nervous!
38270.jpg

Ok here goes Dani the matron of honor
(A Dream is a Wish your Heart Makes~Cinderella)
38284.jpg

Wow it was our turn now. Celeste came and got us and we waited in the hallway for the music to start (Canon in D) love that song! I didn't want to do "Here Comes the Bride" so I chose this song because it was beautiful.

Here is Bobby waiting. He looks so nervous.
38283.jpg

Then it was time!!!

38304.jpg

38308.jpg

38316.jpg

38318.jpg

38324.jpg

My dad gave me a kiss and went back to sit down with my mother. I am sure he was pretty relieved since he is not the type to be the center of attention. I am sure he was uncomfortable but he did a great job!

Now it was just me and my husband to be up there and it was a wonderful time. I was so happy to see him. I hadn't seen him since the rehearsal the day before and just seeing him calmed me down even more. We picked Rev. Jack's "Suggested Ceremony" from his packet. We picked this one because it was the most religious out of all of them which was something we really wanted.

Rev. Jack did a prayer and addressed the guests about marriage. He was so funny too.

My cousin Jim did a reading that he had made up which was really beautiful.
38372.jpg

Then it was time for our vows.

The Sand Ceremony was next
38433.jpg

puringthesand38443.jpg

After the sand ceremony we did the rose presentation to the mothers.
38447.jpg

38451.jpg

Then it was time to hear the final part to our ceremony and wait for those magical words "I now pronounce you husband and wife"!
38469.jpg

OMG we were married!!!!! You may now kiss the bride.
38476.jpg

After that we headed back up the aisle to get ready for our staged exit.

38483.jpg

38487.jpg

Bobby and I were put back into the room where my dad and I were waiting while everyone gathered outside to get ready for the staged exit. It was so nice to be in a room with him alone where we reflected on the ceremony and how wonderful it was. He gave me the rundown about what had gone on regarding the weather and how we finally ended up in that room. They really did wait until the very last minute to decide to have the ceremony inside. That made me happy because they really did try to do what I wanted but the weather just didn't cooperate.

So everyone was lining up outside of the convention center.

38508.jpg

Here we come!!! Wow how cool it was to have all these rose petals thrown all over you! It was a fun moment.

38524.jpg

38526.jpg

We then headed on to the carriage to ride away into our fairytale. We actually didn't go anywhere at that moment but you get the idea..lol

38554.jpg

38568.jpg

38570.jpg

And so ends our ceremony. Not to worry there is much more trip report where that came from. After all we still have the reception and fun pictures to talk about!!!

Coming up next. Pictures before the reception!

:bride: Toni, it was so nice to see some of your pictures from the big day. I got a chance to see the end of your web cast that day, but missed most of it because I was busy at work.

So, I'm curious on some details. Do you have the reading from your cousin to share and what song did you use during the sand ceremony? I agree that the room went perfectly with your colors. Despite the weather, you had a beautiful ceremony.

I love the little touches like the memory vase. We did some flowers on chairs in the front row in memory of our grandparents that had passed away.

Finally I love the shot of you and Bobby in the carriage at the end; you also have some great ones with your dad. That is so nice that your dad wanted to at it to your wedding day.

Awww Toni!! So beautiful! I love the rose petal toss. So pretty. Of course the Cinderella carriage picture of you and Bobby is amazing. It's just like the end of the movie. Love it.

Toni, your cermeony was so beautiful. Isn't it fun to relive it while you are writing it?

The ballroom did go really well with your colors, which is great!

So sweet that your dad wanted the carriage.

It really looks like everything was just about perfect for you. And I love to see how very happy you and Bobby both look! Can't wait to read more!

What a wonderful ceremony recap! It's so sad that SBP was rained out for you but really, the ballroom setup was beautiful. Disney did a fantastic job. :thumbsup2 It's so cute that your dad wanted the carriage too! :goodvibes

hi there.

i noticed your dress has straps in your "getting ready" pics but at the ceremony its strapless. did you decided to nix the straps at the last minute?

Now you are stalking Toni???? Really?

What a lovely ceremony! Sorry that you didn't get SBP. The room really did match your colors perfectly! It's almost as if it were planned that way!

I kind of like the look of the carriage with raindrops on it. They kind of looked like extra sparkles!
