So, here's the background. We're arriving at 6:30 am on Sunday, 7/5 (red eye from LAX). We are not planning on our room being ready that early in the morning and know we might be "homeless" for a while.

I was thinking of using this morning to get some of that bready, sweet, bananany goodness aka Tonga Toast. So, do we just go to Captain Cooks and get some? Or, do we opt for Kona Cafe where we know we can get the full platter? (I've seen those pictures, and man, do they look good!) Having done the red eye before, I know that we'll be wiped out. That's why I'm not sure.

Also, if we wanted to have a late breakfast (say 10ish) would we need to make ADR's for Kona? Or, can we just walk up? I want to keep our options open...

I would do Kona. Captain Cooke's isn't as good and you don't get all the sides that make it so yummy upstairs.
